@jazz1bro--- I'm O.K Mark... how are you? Do you recognize that purple guitar Joe Beck plays in this video....It's the same axe we got to mess around on at the Artist Works booth!
@NickPycks6 Didn't recognize it. Looks like a simlar guitar that Andreas played. I remember hearing Joe beck with Joe Farrell in NYC many years ago. How's it going out in CA ..same? We dug the weather in January that was for sure!
The great Joe Beck. It seemed he played with everyone & on every album in the 70's. Big Bands- Ferguson, Rich, Herman,Elington etc. R&B. He was an AWESOME fusion player. His stuff with Jobim was great. One of the most versatile and creative.
Nick, you are awesome. I checked out all your videos. I did meet you last week. I look forward to meeting you this week to talk about how to teach guitar online through SeekYourGuru
At Naam 06--I saw Joe play a set at the Martin booth with Jim Fox.....You could have set an atomic watch to Joe's GROOVE...on this vid his cancer was stage 4...he still put it in the pocket....
Joe was not only an amazing guitarist he was also an amazing person. I miss him everyday. I'm now a jazz guitarist because he inspired me. I'm so glad I can watch videos of him and see him playing.
r.i.p. joe. another great loss... we miss you
