@infinera06 If you read Pat's Memoir, you'd know that she was under so much stress and pressure from her record label she probably couldn't eat, and here it is 30 years later and she is still just as thin, she is just a naturally petite woman. She's always looked the same so you need to get your eyes checked!

I'd say it was because her husband was brutally murdered while standing next to her just two months ago, and the song "(Just Like) Starting Over" was a love song from him to her. It's pretty easy to understand why it evoked a response in her.
