  • This RNC guy is a buffoon..

  • Michael Steele is Dick Cheney's Personal Butler, so of Course Steele agrees with Dick, Steele is a Front Man and Cheney is still the Boss, hell Steele stil shines Dick's shoes every morning after Breakfast.

  • Mika rocks!

  • I thought by I attack they meant civic liberty

  • Republicans don't like actually thinking things through. Just gotta go with your gut.

  • Steele is simply trying to sell his book; he has nothing revelant to say. Of course, he's going to blame Obama for breathing. Did Bush breathe?

  • "It took six days for Bush to respond to the shoe-bomber".....

    ...

    ...

    ...

    crickets

  • The Humpty Dance is your chance to the Hump. Do me baby!

  • Cheney's words coming out on Fox News (the only station he will go on) was a smoke screen to divert attention from the fact that he was the one who released the underwear bomber back to Yemen

  • Republicans are a bunch of hypocritical assholes.

  • Steele is advocating the words of a convict

  • Former Vice Pres Dick..nit Vice Pres.Dick. Joe has that job, Oh, please.

It great to have Mr. Steele, will someone clean his chair as he leaves...

  • Michael Steele is the "Peter Principle" in action

  • Cheney has been wrong his entire life.

What makes Michael Steele think that he is "dead on" about anything today?

  • There are some within the US government still loyal to Cheney's ideology that carry out operations such as this for political gain.

As for Steele, he is a nobody; just a spokesman for the GOP. Nothing that comes out of his mouth has any merit or credibility.

  • Steele's the most irrelevant american alive today.

  • Mr Steele perfectly exemplifies the Dunning-Krüger effect, in which "people reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices but their incompetence robs them of the metacognitive ability to realize it".

  • bush was told and did not act. obama wants to act but wasn't told

  • bush and cheney staged the attacks on the wtc's.. they should be tried and convicted of these crimes then for war crimes.. they are both despicable human beings.

  • @navtel and there still at it with undie bombs? Snap out of it, there are no party lines.

  • I agreed with Bush/Cheney back when this whole thing started and I agree with him now.

A halfhearted approach to dealing with these Islamic dogs only emboldens them.

  • You're stupid if you think that.

Talking tough and treating them as worthy adversaries emboldens them. Terrorists LOVE publicity. They LOVE scaring America, and the Bush/Cheney administration gave them more than they could ever hope for in that respect. They have successfully changed our way of life, and drained over a trillion dollars from this country even though they sit in caves with AK-47's with the 80's.

That's pathetic. That's more surrender than they ever could have hoped for.

  • Yes the CIA intermingled with Al Qaeda a lot back in the 80's when we were trying to defeat our last boogey man (the communists).

But there are people in the middle east who don't like America.

I just don't think they are a serious enough threat to shit our pants over so much. We all have more of a chance of being struck by lightning than getting killed by terrorists.

Intelligence agencies should keep terrorists in check, but there's no reason the public needs to panic so much.

  • @IAMtheNewWorldOrde

As for the mid east people- can you blame them?? Considering what "we" have been up to for so many years, I can't.

You can't expect much from a population that is fed "his=story" instead of history. Than there is the 6 corps that own all the "news" you see; that is owned by corps like GE, that make more off agenda's than providing factual news. Their always right there to help create the perception of division in the 2 parties as well. Now we need airport "scanners" B.S.

  • is coldplay's life in techincolour playing in the background @ 1:00

  • blame the last administration, when it's not in power right now.

  • So when a new president takes over-he just has a clean slate? It's just like selecting "new game" on a video game or something?

  • @IAMtheNewWorldOrder You know that's not true. I have been reading your posts for some time, and I know that were not "left" enough for you.

This administration has continued the agenda's of the last, and has not provided the hope and change it promised.

"Transparency" is a joke. C-SPAN can't even show us the "health care" debate.

  • Yeah, Obama turned out to be much more of a normal president than I expected, and it's a little disappointing.

But Bush & Cheney were both ignorant, and emotional where Obama is logical & reasonable.

And in a way it kind of makes sense that Obama is so mild in his policies, considering how the right goes into a fit of rage whenever he does ANYTHING.

  • @IAMtheNewWorldOrder The name for them is the name the CIA created. It is in fact, the name of the file, that included BinLadin when we were supporting them against the Russians in Afghanistan.

  • Comment removed

  • And lobbing cruise missiles into Yemen (where Al Qaeda is vs Iraq where Al Qaeda never was when you Neocons were in power) indicates Obama doesn't understand the situation?

C'mon you moron, do you really think those of us who have a functioning brain actually buy that "he screws up everything" logic you neanderthals seem intent on spewing?

  • @Painkill3r4 What's your excuse for the neo-cons in the WH, and holding the majority in Congress today?

    It's moronic to

  • Well of course Steele would say that. He's gonna get whipped if he doesn't.

  • Whipped?

    Racist comment.

  • Racist party.

  • joshpnw, very... liberals can be just as incipiently racist as conservatives. conservatives are equal opportunity racists, liberals reserve it for conservative people of color. irrespective of ideology & party affiliation, americans and canadians are racists.. period.. end of story

  • and that's quite an ironic accusation, considering the comment you write just 3 minutes later:

"A halfhearted approach to dealing with these Islamic dogs only emboldens them."

  • Didn't like 3,000 Americans die from Terrorism under Cheney and Bush???
