One thing: Frank Tipler was not the man who invented the concept of the Omega Point, it was the Jesuit priest Piere Teilhard de Chardin. Tipler jusy "actualized" it, although I do not agree with his technological god-like interpretation at all.
Although things are becoming more complex at a higher rate, the law of entropy still applies. All this means is that we are using up our resources at a higher, unsustainable, rate as a result of this increased complexity. Objects in space appear to be traveling away at a higher rate of speed the farther they are away. This is not an indication of a collapse back into a singularity. This Omega point "theory" (more like hypothesis) is highly speculative.
Now that HD format displays are vernacular and govt decided to halt plans on putting man back into space again, i was like, wtf is it because its now hard for them to cook up some photoshop shit that they did back them, were all the people who were telling about moon landing being an hoax (at whom i used to laugh) telling the truth...With such delusions in my mind i don't even want to get started on mars SO MUCH TO SAY ABOUT IMPOSSIBLE SCIENCE AND OMEGA POINT.
What is wrong with these "so called" Geniuses? Howcan they not understand you cannot equate down to zero, because at zero time what we are examining has not yet occured. Time does not exist. Only NOW exists and we are always reacting to the past which does not exist anymore because it is prior to the zero point in which we exist

And remember, The Omega Point or something similar will resurrect every person that has ever lived! We will be able to experience infinity/eternity and know the mind of God. Do all the things that we've always wanted to do.
I'm sure The Omega Point or something similar will occur in the future. The signs are there. Supercomputers have reached the petascale (1,000,000,000,000,000 FLOPS). Computer graphics are becoming more and more realistic. I also think strong artificial intelligence and The Technological Singularity are only a few years away. It's looking like a promising future people!

I think the Omega point is possible but i heard some scary facts about it such as that only one person can go Omega, everyone else must die, please explain!
@redblackproductions1 Yes it's very scary, and I've often thought of the singularity as a single person's experience. This "psychedelic experience" if you will, will be like one's own motion picture playing out before you, the way you want, it sounds kind of selfish, but in a way this sort of explains why there's a kind of an out of tune-ness in the human condition.... Once we're all one, if you think of it this way, perhaps we'll behave like a sort of hive mind. Scary prospect indeed.
