nothing personal but how much did ur engine and tubro cost all togetter i would like to know so i can get an estamate to save... Check my camaro out EVEYONE!!!!!!
@Trock365 it says series 2 cause its the second gen of the 3.8l 231 ci 200hp buick v6. first gen were in the old grand nationals. the main difference is that the series 2 has aluminum heads and the first gen had iron i think. lol
350 hp? nice thats more than a ls1 and you dont have all that weight up front. With a turbo 6 u can basically make this an american roadster. Handling handling handling!
its funny reading people talk shit about 4 banger, v6's and v8's. I once owned a 2002 cavalier (4 banger) and all the videos ive seen, people dissed it and told them to go buy a v6 or v8, now i own a v6 camaro and now its go buy a v8. fucking lame shit talkers. you can make anything of any cylinder go fast, and it doesnt matter WTF IT IS 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and or 14. fuckin stupid

Thanks and thats an awesome camaro by the way i wish my engine was like yours. i got mine looking pretty good but i wanna start doing stuff to the engine like yours
@SuperNena34 no.. well u can but.. its ALOT of work only like a couple cars out there that actually pulled it off.. you need to cut the back half of the supercharger and reroute your throttlebody.. all in all not worth the work lol
you can but you have to modify the back of the supercharger. the air intake for those will hit your firewall. it has been done before. if you search around a little bit you will find some that curved the back of the sc so it doesn't hit. i have a 2000 camaro too so i used to wonder the same thing lol.
yeah ive seen people do builds like this, if you get the compression right and you have everything tuned those v6s will put you back in your seat without sucking your gas tank dry but they still cant get that sound you get when you turn over a v8 big block =\
Hey i was wonderin how big of a pain was it to tap ur oil pan for the return line? i have 2000 3800 and am building a turbo setup for it and am gettin ready to tap the pan.
what will it make the v6 engine if you put turbo on it an added the flow masters onto it would it add hell of alot more power or will it either drain the power from the flow masters or will the flow masters drain power from the turbo????

I have a 1995 3.4L V6 Camaro and i was wondering if it would be cheaper to buy a new engine or just rebuild and supercharge what i have...message me about it
Just sell your car and buy a 3.8L Camaro. Because the 3.4L is gonna need Megasquirt and it cost a fortune. The 3.4L engine pcm is not tunable so you would need to buy megasquirt. Just sell your Camaro and buy a 96 model or later year and you can either supercahrge or turbo charge it. If going supercharge you are gonna have to make alot of modifications to your engine. So just sell your 3.4L Camaro and buy a 3.8L Camaro.
NOT a 97, Unless he converted the front end. The headlights are 98-02. Sweet car, im hoping to turbo my 97 camaro soon. Info on where to get the parts would be helpful. thanks.
I have a stock 2000 3.8L Firebird (except for k&n air filter and Dynomax exhaust). I was first thinking about a supercharger, but I can't find any that are manufactured for my bird now. So I am thinking of a turbocharge setup... and I dont know where to start.
my idea is to start w Fast Toys Ram Air induction, new exhaust (ready to be replaced), and the turbo. Should I be doing some other mods with this - $ is tight, but looking to go faster.
Wouldnt the hot cam advance the timing and screw up the turbo with all the overlap? I dont know much about single cam engines, im more of a dohc guy lol. Nice setup BTW, I made a custom turbo setup myself. Just completed it, check out the vids.
i dont get why there is people that hate when they fix v6 engines.....when there is people that fix v4 engines

The Flowmasters (aka Chokemasters) on the otherhand are not the best flowing mufflers on the market.

I'm guessing GM didn't use the plastic intake for these 3800 SII's did they?? I know they used them for 3800 SII FWD applications.

I have a 1995 3.4L V6 Camaro and i was wondering if it would be cheaper to buy a new engine or just rebuild and supercharge what i have...message me about it
Master1557 3 years ago
Just sell your car and buy a 3.8L Camaro. Because the 3.4L is gonna need Megasquirt and it cost a fortune. The 3.4L engine pcm is not tunable so you would need to buy megasquirt. Just sell your Camaro and buy a 96 model or later year and you can either supercahrge or turbo charge it. If going supercharge you are gonna have to make alot of modifications to your engine. So just sell your 3.4L Camaro and buy a 3.8L Camaro.

how much was all this

im guess 2000 for the turbos and about 2000 more to make the engine handle the turbos.

LOL it actually takes less than $1000 to make these cars turbo charged. The car can be pushed to 12psi on stock internals. It all comes down to tune.

How much money/effort would it take to turbo a 3.8l camaro with just custom parts like you did. Also did you install everything yourself. thanks
TamiyaDude 3 years ago
could you turbocharge a 94 Camaro 3.4L?
bonezy09 3 years ago
sure, with enough custom work
