Just a comment on the khao mun kai and khao mun kai thod "combo" plate.

The "soup" is just that, a soup. Although it can be spooned over the rice, that's not its intent.

The spicy sauce is for the steamed chicken, while the sweet sauce is for the fried, "kai thod".

Great episode you guys captured the cacophony of Victory Monument's stalls. It's really one of the good food hoods in Bangkok! Plus you made it my food street, Soi 38. That Hoi Tod fry guy is an institution, he's been cooking that oyster omelette for over 10 years!
