It's ok, @ahabkeat, everything else looks great. In the future, try to keep the nosewheel of the aircraft on the white runway centerline or yellow taxi line during ground operations. Keep up the good work!

I work on an regional airline which operates with saab 340 (twin prop turbo) and some captains preffer to shut down one engine during taxi after clear runway in order to save on fuel but others don't, it depends on the captain...

I have this aircraft also and it is very very good. Very realistic start up procedures etc. It gets 9/10. I also fly Cebu Pacific livery and I have flew all of the scheduled flights in the Philippines. Manila to CDO is my favourite. Some airlines do taxi on a single engine to the parking bay or during preflight checks at departure as it gives them power where there is no ground generator. They put the engine into "Hotel" mode to run a single engine, don't ask me why they call it that.

@2skilletdrummer6 some airlines encourage turning off one engine while taxiing to save on fuel. Some, however, discourage this. Whether or not it is beneficial in the long run is a debate that continues to be unabated. I just tried it out :)

nice Vid, Dude! I´m flying the ATR 72 from F1 in FS9 and it was the first Aircraft I really "learned" to fly online (VATSIM) . She is a very nice and "well behaved" Plane for "Beginners" and also a beautiful Aircraft with nice System - Depth for "Advanced" Sim - Pilots ;-) Please keep on posting more vids like that, I love it

Thanks gradenko! Although I loved FSX, I now mainly use FS9 because of availability of patches/downloads. The ATR by flight1 is just an excellent plane. I got the skin off avsim(dot)com. Installation is pretty easy because the file includes an exe file which automatically installs it. :)

Nice.. Flight One's ATR-72-500. Sweet little airplane, the MFC system F1 simulated is just excellent. Nice Cebu Pacific skins, what is the download file and how did you install? I just took a flight in the real 5J ATR-72 to Laoag 2 weeks ago and reenacted it several times in FSX. Exact time, exact weather and exact runways, you can almost smell the sukang Iloko during taxi to the terminal in Laog (in FSX). hahaha. Nice vid and soundtrack!!

I read in a thread somewhere that some airlines urge their pilots to shut down one engine when taxiing to save on fuel, but depending on the aircraft's weight, wind etc. The people on the thread were actually arguing on the pro's and con's of the practice :D Then I downloaded this checklist for the ATR and the procedure there is to shutdown engine 1 when out of the runway, so I gave it a try :)

I got it from avsim(dot)com. There are a lot of great downloads there. First, get Flight1's ATR 72-500, download their text-o-matic software, then use it to load the cebu pacific livery. Good lu and happy flying!
