  • Is this the top floor for all of the buildings in the hospital complex? I know definitely not the parking garage but very other building?

  • that ending bump was the elevator hitting the low limit switch.

  • hihi 0:37

  • what is 2R and 3R

  • the r stands for rear door

  • Did you see what somebody did in a video with the same name? It's even worse than copying it without permission.

  • Very beautiful.

  • if you travel on the Sydney trains all the elevators on the platform are hydraulic.

  • This was once considered a big advantage as by that time hydraulic lifts were cheaper to acquire and maintain. But nowadays machine-room-less traction models are beginning to subsitute hydraulics as they are becoming cheaper to acquire and yet they save much more electricity on operation.

  • Hydraulic elevators are still preferred here in the US. A 2-3 story traction elevator costs about twice as much as a similar hydraulic one.

  • But considering the costs of electricity consumed, tractions are sometimes preferred should the electrical bill rates go too high like the case in Hong Kong.

  • Here they're still cheaper, even in the long run.

  • You haven't bben to the UK before then (recently). We have Gen2s for 2 Floors!

  • we do the same in the netherlands, we have all-in elevators, they are MRL for the 2 landings at a train station. all elevators i know that were installed the last 3 years are MRL traction. for 2 landing applications.

  • that hospital has very nice elevators!!

  • Nice video, even with the surprise photo.

  • Really nice Otis units there. Good recording!
