I don't know about Hammond, but Billy Joel' is in here singing away. The best any beatle or beatle realted music is just pure fun and brings you back. Mind games is another favorite of mine.
SamWhitemoon1 -- Yeah, well you're right, Black people love Paul McCartney too. I confess. I'm Black and...and...and.. I love Paul McCartney, The Beatles, and my kids think I'm crazy. I loved Wings too. I even went to see Paul and "The Band" in Atlanta in 2009. Shhh...there were Black people there too. I was so happy I wasn't alone. Yawn... Oh well, I guess I'll go listen to some "Rap" now...
Seeing Macca on December 19th and I couldn't be more excited!!!! I'm a HUGE fan and I know I'm going to have the time of life!!! CANNOT FUCKING WAIT! Memories shall be made!
My wife and I make Saturday nite our Jack Daniels nite, Pull out all the Beatles CDS and just go nuts, we are both 57, We laff, we cry, we dance, The band is in their own category and always will be, Put on concert for George if need to watch something,,But just on the couch listening to the music and all these years lster, It still the best, Imagine another 40 years down the road, These guys will be in the history books forever
@FanOfJanis ~ (as in Janis Joplin?) ~ All generations believe, to some extent, that their music and their time was the best, and I respect that. BUT the Beatles, and the 60's, WERE something you didn't want to miss, and we both know that. Yes, it was the best of times AND the worst of times but it WAS an experience unlike what most generations of humanity ever get to be a part of. Eh?
simsHOTDATE ~ I am truly sorry about your dad. Your comments got me to thinking so I checked my "channel" (here @ YouTube) and discovered that my "favorites" include TWENTY Beatles' recordings! George was my favorite and on occasion he'd sing lead on a Beatles' song. My 2 favorite with George singing "up front" are "Don't Bother Me" and "Happy Just To Dance With You." It's always fun to be a Beatles' fan, age means absolutely nothing. "...you say you want a revolution................." :)
@simsHOTDATE ~ It was quite a ride, growing up with the Fab Four. I saw all the movies (Hard Day's Night, Help, Yellow Submarine, Magical Mystery Tour and their last movie ~ Let It Be) and owned every single album they ever recorded. I remember too when John was murdered in December 1980, it seemed so surrealistic at the time that he was suddenly gone. Then, losing George in 2001. They were bigger than life and their music will live on for future generations (like yourself) to enjoy.
@MrRonnieG definitely their music will live on..i also owned some of their album, and DVD of their concert The first US visit, the shea stadium and some of mccartney's post beatles concert..my dad is quite amaze that i learned to not just like but love the beatles, that's why he enjoyed if i ask for a birthday or xmas gift a beatles album or a dvd concert..the best bday gift he gave me was a gibson J-160E VS..now that my dad is no longer around, the more i appreciate the beatles..
@MrRonnieG - Agree with you totally! Same here. Saw the Ed Sullivan Shows. Saw all the movies. Had all the albums. Anybody under 55 cannot begin to imagine how magical The Beatles were. They towered over the 1960s like a colossus. It was as if God decided to create a rock band and The Beatles were it. I saw Paul in concert in 1990. High point of my life. The System greatly feared John Lennon. The mere rumor of a McCartney can pack any venue in the world anytime. Look at the people!
@MaxxPurple98 I do the same thing bro, here's why I get a little foggy when I hear Beatle's songs. For me, their songs are the soundtrack to my childhood, which was golden, but Beatle's songs only bring to memory the happy moments for some reason. Paul has always reached the public with his songs, God gives gifts to everyone and it is apparent with the public's response to Paul and his music, that God gave him an ability to "reach" people with his songs.
I remember, well, when the Magical Mystery Tour first hit the radio in 1968. It wasn't just an album (which is was) but was more than that. It was a television hour long film that was released at the end of 1967. In response to the Beatles' Mystery Tour the Rolling Stones produced their own film effort at the end of '68 ~ The Rolling Stones Rock n' Roll Circus which was actually 2 concerts on a circus stage and under a circus tent.
I've decided to throw out my anti-depressant medication and simply bookmark this VID! I cannot imagine a more uplifting 2 minutes & 39 seconds anywhere. I can only hope that Paul keeps going for another 100 years because as far as I'm concerned ~ he's our world's trump card when it comes to musical entertainment.
The best thing about this VID is the cross section of the audience. I was 17 when the Beatles 1st appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show in February of 1964 and if I'd been at this concert I swear I'd have been going out of my mind! You've got fans in this VID from 8 years old to 80 years old and ~ one and all ~ they knew at that moment in their lives they were watching a performer singing a song from a group that will never ever ever come again. I was SO lucky to have grown up with The Beatles!!!!
@MrRonnieG well i'm a little bit jealous of people who grew up with the beatles, i'm 21 and i'm definitely a beatles fan..i like them because my dad introduce them to me when i was 7..my dad bought me the dvd of this concert and @ almost 5 decades beatles' music is still in demand..they were and always be loved by all generations..and in fact i consider one of my greatest disappointment in life is to never see what a beatles reunion would have brought..
BANG - What an opening; apparently there was no introduction; they started playing just behind the scenes and then you can see th e rest - an awful lot of people slate McCartney - fine, that thier opinion. I can't imagine a more prolific partnership than Lennon / McCartney . Despite the Stones Vs. Beatles nonsense, if yo do a bit of research you'll see they had great respect for each other. I want to see the man before it's to late!
I don't care what anyone says.. I've been around now for 50 years and the more I hear what passes for music today, the more I appreciate Paul McCartney and The Beatles! Everything else is just second best...
To learn how to hear the hidden message in Beatles songs, search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then open The Present and read through the section about The Beatles. This could change the world. Thumbs up this comment, copy and paste it on other songs.
The most impressive part of this video besides Paul, is the age variance of people in the audience. Just goes to show, The Beatles will never die..as long as the music still plays.
I can completely understand the reaction of fans who are practically in tears when Paul and the band step up to the mikes and start belting out Magical Mystery Tour - just watching the video almost gave me chills.
I love how everyone loves him and all people cant help but sing along. It makes me happy seeing everyone dancing along with the music and having a great time
@misterjakemczilla Yes, beautiful. You have to understand that a whole generation grew up with the Beatles. Our first sleepover, Mom taking you to see Hard Day's Night, the first time you drove a car alone, your first make out session, dropping acid, even playing a Beatles song at your wedding. Singing Beatles songs to your babies when they woke up in the middle of the night.
@Amhlair I don't think The Beatles will ever die out..I hope they will still be listened to in 50 years and not the jokes people call music today. Greatest band of all-time by far is the fab four :)
The Beatles were a force of Nature. They showed us that with enough love, you can do just about anything. There are hidden messages and meanings in many of their songs. To find out what they are, search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then open The Present and read the section about The Beatles.
Check out Panacea, we're a rising rock group that loves to cover many different songs, and would like to start composing music of our own soon. We'd very much appreciate your support!
I feel like I'm there. I can feel the magic just sitting here in my chair. Gosh, Paul McCartney is such a legend! I want to see him live before he stops touring! The Beatles rock the world to this day, and they'll never die! Long live Sir Paul! (: <3

Love watching Paul. Then I realise he hasn't come to Adelaide, Australia since 1964 (WAY before I was born) and get jealous :/ haha
He owes it to Adelaide as about 300,000+ people turned up to see The Beatles, and that was just SEEING them, not the concert :P
