HUGS Amelia! Don't be hard on yourself! I think that maintaining is the HARDEST part of the weight lose surgery! I will be 4 years out April 8th and I have gained back about 15 lbs. Yes that isn't to much, but I am really struggling with getting back on track. I allowed myself to SEE what I could eat and get away with! BAD BAD BAD IDEA! NOW I have to get those things OUT of my diet again and get back to the basics of protein and healthy foods. You ARE and inspiration and I KNOW you will get off!
I will be 11 yrs post op in April, lost 108 lbs, have regained 70!! UGHHH!! Starting today I have dedicated time to MYSELF to hopefully start with 5 lbs at a time. I hear you loud and clear!
Amelia - I thought I'd comment on this one as well. It is hard to lose this far out after WLS. I found that making and watching YouTube videos really helped me in the past so that's what I'm going to be doing again. I always looked to your videos to inspire me. But maybe we can help each other.. I understand about the PCOS and how difficult that makes it. People say, "Stop eating!" but that doesn't help. Do you find you get nauseated more easily? My sugar drops and I get hungrier than I should.
Amelia.. so glad to see your video! I watched a bunch of your previous posts last year before my bypass, and you were such an inspiration to me! I wish you the VERY BEST of luck as you work to overcome the regain. Remember, you are only human and you are not the only one struggling with this! Take it one day at a time. You CAN DO IT!
i am gaining my weight too!!!! but i am not able to excercise!!!! cause i have no time and also cuz my knees are terrible!!!! but i am loosing by starting all over again!!! i started liquid diet!! then soft and so on!!! it's a good idea!! for me it has worked! i hope u reach your goals and we're here to support you!
Hey Amelia, I have watched your videos for years now and your weight loss and excitement about losing weight was always an inspiration. I had noticed you were MIA and of coarse we can tell there is a difference in your pics considering you were way too small at one point and now your not. But as you said, your not the first person this has happened to and as hard has it will be I have faith in you that you will do your best to get back to a healthy weight. I wish you luck and the best. ((hugs))
Amelia, so glad you came back, i missed you, i never had weightloss surgery BUT i was losing at around the same time as you , now i am back at 216lb and i am only 5ft so i need to lose it again bigtime, it will be good to have you recording how you are doing , you have always inspired me, at whatever weight you were,Caroline.
I'm so glad you're back. I had a feeling you disappeared because of weight gain, but you're human too and people like me didn't just like you because of your ability to lose weight. we liked you because of your humanity. It's ok to be fallible. :)
I am SO glad you are back. I am SO glad you are reaching out to YouTube again! I had RNY 2 years ago this coming April and I still fear regain. You are a total inspiration at the beginning, in the middle, and even more so now. I totally support you and will cheer you on!!!! I am TEAM AMELIA!!!!!!
Amelia, I'm so glad you came back. I know it's hard after regain, but it happens to the best of us. For many (me included) this is a lifelong battle. The trick is...you get back on the horse. And you're doing it! Besides, you really DO look healthier now- fuller hair, that dark, unhealthy under the eyes thing is gone, too. You are born to blog, you're good at it, honest and ppl love you. What more could you want? We welcome you back!
Hi Amelia!! You know I have been following you for a while now and you so inspire me. You have been through A LOT, so don't worry about what anyone else has to say. This is YOUR life and life can be hard. I had my gastric bypass Dec. 28, 2009, and it has NOT been an easy journey!! I pray that your journey continues to be a positive one. I'll be praying for you. Please friend me on facebook....
Hi Amelia... I've watched a few of your videos!! I am about to have WLS- excited and nervous all at the same time!!! When was your orginal surgery date? And when did u start gaining back? Good luck with your Journey!! I have lots of questions!! If u have the time
Amelia....Thank you, thank you!!! You know you guided me through the WLS; was on your timeline. Now....I am EXACTLY where you are with the regain. We have needed you! You are our reality!. Please don't go away again....we are here and we are listening!
Glad to see you back, Amelia. I followed all your videos a while back and enjoy you (and your hubby) very much. How is his garden coming along? My surgery happens Feb. 24th, VSG....I'm sure you will succeed with your weight loss goals. Shame is something we all go through, you are not alone, but I give you tons of credit for finding the courage to come back to your weight loss family on you tube. I know this was hard, So glad to have you back again we are all here to support you.
Good to see you Amelia...you can do it ;) We are still human....I have been plateaued about a year now, with 20-25 lbs to go. But I feel great and am living life, so if it happens, it will happen..and I will apply myself if and when I am ready.
Hello i would love to know what you eat in a day. I have never really lost the weight i have been stuck for a long time. I feel as though i never really know what to eat in a day if that makes sence. ty melissa
hey, this video just shows you are human..I had bypass 1 1/2 years ago and never lost all my goal weight. I'm struggling to get down to my lowest weight now so I know how you feel. just know we are here and some of us know what you're going through.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am so glad you posted this! I am 3 years out from gastric bypass and I have gained back 40 pounds already in the last year. I feel so ashamed. This gives me inspiration and lets me know that I am not the only one struggling with regain. We can do this! We will lose the weight!
WELCOME BACK, WE MISSED YOU! Hey, so, really, don't beat yourself up about regain. Seriously, it's a horrible truth, an elephant in the room, if you will, that regain is a possibility no matter who you are. All that matters is that you're aware, and you're MAKING CHANGES. Kick ass and take names, I know you can do it!
Amelia! I have missed ya! I enjoyed watching your videos back in the day as I was losing my weight post WLS. It is sooooooo good to see you back! I love the fact that you are upfront, honest, and real. I am over 3 years out and I am at the point where I can regain weight pretty easily. Hang in there chica! I am proud of you for being brave and coming back on youtube. Let's do this!!!!!
Yeah Amalia! Congrats and Good Luck! I am also terrified of regaining but... we'll work on this togther. I Love that you are keeping this REAL! Happy New Year!
thanks for keepin it real... all of us who has had weight loss surgery will always have the fear of gainin our weight back u have always been helpful in ur video they helped me alot i want to thank you for not givin up stay strong you will be able to do this just love ur self enough to make it happen...
You are one of the most beatiful and honest people I've ever, "virtually" met. Keep at it, I lose, gain, lose, gain over and over again. I think its in the genes, some of us have to fight every day to maintain a weight, others get to live on Krispy Kremes and Latte's. I personally gain weight eating carrots.. I friended you on fitbit and am looking forward to some friendly competition but the amount of calories you burn will always trump my lame 2000 calories a day.-finerflower on fitbit.
Amelia.... I just love you soooo much!!!! I'm desperately trying to lose weight too... to no avail. I've tried everything (on the list for surgery). I've watched all your videos, and am SOOO GLAD to see you back here again! Please do NOT be ashamed!! You are human, we all go through our ups and downs, that's what life is about right? we are all rooting for you, and support you whether you're 100 lbs, or 400 lbs. we come here to support you, not to judge you! Cheers from Halifax, NS Canada xox
Amelia!!! U R A HERO! :-) U are so real & raw and I totally dig that.I just got my surgery date for Feb. 15, & honestly the closer it gets I hv a bunch of mix feelings. Excitement and others of fear. One of my biggest fears is the reality that if I'm not careful I will gain the weight back Pls continue 2 keep it real.I know for a fact that you will lose or I mean RELEASE the weight (When you lose something you have a sense of loss, when u release it, u r letting it go for good!). JOIN THE CONTEST!
Hi Amanda!!! Glad to see you back and so real!! Yes girl a lot of people have gone or are going thru the same situation as you me included. But keep doing you and you should be fine! You’re not alone….keep moving, eating smart and drinking water. you look great!!!
You know it would be totally alright even if you didnt lose it. At some point years ago most of us quit watching and following you because you were losing or gaining or anything to do with your weight. We watch, follow, or in my case stalk you, because you are you. Hear me? You are you regardless of what weight you are. We all still love you.
We are all here for you and we will help you get back on track as much as we can! Post some info on that ghangis grill thing so we all know where to vote for you!!! Best of luck, and welcome back!!
We are all here for you and we will help you get back on track as much as we can! Post some info on that ghangis grill thing so we all know where to vote for you!!! Best of luck, and welcome back!!
We are all here for you and we will help you get back on track as much as we can! Post some info on that ghangis grill thing so we all know where to vote for you!!! Best of luck, and welcome back!!
hi Amelia! Glad to have you back and to hear that you haven't lost your sense of humour!
:-) You shouldn't beat yourself up about gaining back the weight...you're a human being like most of us are and are prone to having bad days. Chin up beautiful...a lot of us believe in you! Take care :-)
Awesome to see you! I've been a sub for a long long time! I never had surgery no insurance but I've been researching HCG maybe look into it! I'll be doing videos too shortly if you are curious! Sounds amazing tho *fingers crossed* gonna get fitbit too =)
Your not alone. I regained some also. But came back to what I know works. Journaling, exercising and youtubing. Welcome back. I have also watched several videos today about ppl in the same situation.
This took a lot of courage.. I am proud of you for picking yourself up and going on.. What does this mean.. Your pouch is stretched out? Does it shrink back ? Would you need another surgery to make it smaller?
Wishing you all good things.. Thank you for sharing your story.
Don't you for one second feel bad about who you are...or what you weigh. You are amazing, and beautiful at ANY size!! It's so shameful gaining weight after a loss. I know, I'm in that boat too! You know people are looking at you going "Oh geez, look at her, she's fat again" It's so painful to see it in their eyes. But you know what? They can suck it!! We are amazing women, fat or thin!! I think your doing great, going to the gym and eating healthy! Keep it up, enjoy life, be yourself :)
Wow! I've been watching your videos for some time now and I just have to say I applaud you for being so brave! Weight loss is a terrible struggle and I wish you nothing but the best of luck on your new journey even if it isn't the first try! You can do it! :-)
Great on the exercise! I know it helps my sanity. I lost about 70 pounds. I started watching you when I was at my heaviest and most ill. My weight has fluctuated but I keep it pretty stable lately by daily gentle exercise (yoga and walking), meditation and a good nutritious eating plan (lots of whole foods, veggies and fruits - no more processed foods, especially sugar). Remember who you are, love and care for yourself and the rest will come into a balance. Thanks for posting. Be well. :)
Hi girl, glad to see you are back.. And bless you to be brave enough to come back on!! I started watching your videos when I was thinking about WLS and I still do, I find months post op to where I am at..just to kinda see ya know.. Ok I must have missed he one about you almost died..so I'm in shock about that. But I am really curious about what you did to stretch out the pouch, just over eat??? I'm curious bcuz I'm currently 21wks pregnant and 10months post op( yeah it's a surprise, Vasectomy b
Hang in there my dear.... I can remember your videos being some of the first ones i watched when i was thinking about having GB. So I thank you for being so honest and I am sending lots of love and prayers your way to help you get thru the rough spots..... I have faith in you.... you can do it....
Hi Amelia..chacha cha,I too have put some pounds back on.Unlike some I have never made it to goal weight, but I would never had lost 90 pounds without WLS.I have not failed just a slow learner.I have lots to say but will make a video soon.Take care and good luck on the contest.Great Motivation maybe you will be the new Jerrod .Diana
Hey girl. Am sooo happy to see you back and updating. Dont worry I know you will get to your goal again it will take some time but it will come. You have our support. Keep busting the gym and watch your food intake. It will happen for you again. Stay strong and hang in there we love you Amelia
Don't forget how much you still inspire so many people. Life throws us curveballs and it's so nice to see you back. You have come a long way, don't ever sell yourself short.
Thank you for updating, We all missed you very much, I wanted to let you know that watching your progress and hearing your recomendions has helped me make my own choices for wls, Thank you,
I'm sure you will get a lot of "you should DO this or DO that"... and I don't want to add to that, but might I suggest just looking into and researching a Paleo diet? I recall you were going to nursing school last I saw of you and as a nurse myself, and having tried "weight loss programs" and even contemplated surgery, Paleo has been the only thing that's ever truly made sense to me. From not only a health and wellness, nutritional, medical, scientific standpoint, but a human one as well.
Same boat as you. Had my surg seven years ago, and gained 80lbs back. It's not easy, everyday I work at it. Funny enough, I recently got a fitbit too. It's good to know I'm not the only one reloosing.
I think you need to try going to an overeaters anonymous meeting. google their website for meetings, podcasts, info, articles. There are certain foods that some people can't handle because they are addictive. Some common ones are white carbs and white (processed) sugar. Some others are high salt/ dairy. There are even meetings in my area that are for people who have had weight loss surgery but still deal with compulsive overeating. It's a biological and emotional addiction.
I'm so glad to see you back. I hope you continue to make videos. I miss seeing them all the time. I understand why you haven't, but I do wish you would continue. So many people look forward to your wonderful wit and charm. We all miss that!
ps. I will totally vote for you... and you have no need to be ashamed... regain happens to the best of us. I've lost and gained 100 pounds like three times. I'm known in my "real" life as the girl who is either getting fat or getting skinny. Anyhoo my point is we can do it... and we CAN keep it off. Keep working hard and you'll get where you want to go.
I'm so glad you're back!!! I also have and LOVE my fitbit! super awesome stuff... Anyhoo I'm excited for you!! You rock and will lose this regain in no time!
Amelia, THANK YOU for your bravery. A week ago on January 13th I had a major accident, was helicoptered to Stanford because I almost died after a months last year of emergency surgery and hospitalization. It messed me up too and gained about fifty pounds. Almost dying last week forced me to think of self first. Made a gastric bypass blooper video because laughter helps. Will attach in hope that you too can laugh too at the crazy journey we in this community are on. Best to you!
Amelia, I am SO happy to know that you're alive, and glad to see you back. I followed your journey for a LONG time ... have wondered what became of you. Don't feel bad at all that you're human; we all are! You can totally do what you want to do!
You have my vote as well, I have followed all your videos and you have always been an inspiration to me and you still are. I wasn't able to get my surgery, but i did manage to lose quite a bit of weight with medication, almost made it to wonderland. Then due to moving I had to switch doctors, and now my new doctor wont give thjem to me so of course i have started putting the weight back on. So I feel your pain. You continue to be an inspiration to us alll!!!
I just wanted you to know that because of you, you gave me the strength to get gastric bypass surgery. I think you a great and strong women who is a great source of strength for many people. I think even though you had a set back that you are strong enough to get back to were you are the happiest! That is the most important thing! Thank you so much all your videos and if your chosen you deff have my vote!
Thank you so much for this...I'm so sorry you have had to go through the hardship of regaining. We all have faith in you! You've been an inspiring person since the beginning and you still are inspiring people. You inspired me today... the realization of how I give into temptation and how I need to change my habbits before Im completely dissapointed in myself. THANK YOU! I cant even express how much thanks I have for you for posting this video. You always have been and still are my inspiration!
You got my vote, hun! Good to see you're alive! Glad to see you're refocusing. Believe it or not, you are still an inspiration! I watched you pre-op and I'm still watching you. You can do this, Amelia. You've been thru a lot and everyone handles it different. Let it be a lesson and move on. Keep on, keep'n on! HUGS!
Thank you for making this video! I was so worried about you! it is good to see you and brave up to admitting to the weight gain. I am so sorry for your obstacles. I am so happy you took the time to refocus! I pray you things done the old fashioned way successfully! We can do it!
Hey Amelia, I know we didn't get to know each other but I did watch all your vids before I had bypass and like everyone else fell in love with you and your fantastic personality and unstoppable determination and Joel's garden. lol. We all couldn't wait till your next vid. Well shit happens but I have no doubt that you will succeed again. You put your mind to it you will do it! Best wishes and good luck! Garry
Well its nice to see you are back. You are correct with saying a lot surgery's have ended up a fail. Glad to hear how you are going to lose the weight again. Good luck with the contest :D
you can do it i know you can you have been through hell and back. dont worry alot of people are here for you to support you through your new challenges. everyone does gain so no biggie. just keep up the good work. you still look good. dont be so hard on yourself. we are all here to help you just ask. hugs
AMELIA!!! SO good to see you! I was beginning to think you disappeared! Seriously though, it's good to see you're okay *hugs*. No worries, life happens - if you're worried that we are gonna look down on you because you regained, think again. You may be just another vlog to yourself but I've watched your videos from #1 to this one - it just shows that you're human. I may not know you personally but know this: you are an amazing and inspiring woman and still are <3 Don't be afraid to update!
So happy to see you back on youtube. I think that you are a very interesting person. You should do the challenge if it helps you with yourself. Everyone has their ups and downs, nobody should judge you for that. They should be thankful that you get on here to share yourself with us. Hope all goes well with you. Look forward to your next video :)
I also have PCOS and the weight just won't come off. I have a lapband...lost 16 lbs..can't seem to lose anymore.....what did you eat when you lost all your weight??
Hey Amelia! We are all in your corner! you can get back down to where you feel the best! You sound like you are motivated and ready to do this again! Here is wishing you the best of luck!
SO GOOD to see you again! It's very brave of you to do this video. So many people don't talk about what happens when you gain SOME of your weight back. It happens, don't beat yourself up about it. You have the tools to lose it again. I'll be keeping you in my prayers.
Its so good to see ya! Don't worry you will lose weight again ! We all love you and miss you so please keep the videos coming! I have gained a lot of weight so maybe we can help each other lose weight.

You have NO idea how wonderful seeing this video was to me. Never did I need to see this more than now. You're a God send. You are human,...we ALL put some of it back...I have and I will fight to get it off the rest of my life. I had surgery 7 years ago. You WILL lose it! Thank you for being you....
What do you think of posting vlogs once or twice a week again? Do you think it would help you stay focused and motivated? Looking forward to seeing you conquer your weight loss challenges. Good Luck!
great to see ya!!!!!!! we all go through tuff times. I am a lapbander and i wash doing great until i was in a car accident 6 months ago. it has been hard getting back in the swing of things. u have support donut worry, you will get back into it!!!!!!!!!!!
What was your low weight? What was your high pre-surgery. It is not easy, you are back on track now. Good that you have a supportive husband so that you can not work and focus.
I am glad you did this video, I have missed seeing you. I am from Greenville originally so I have always thought I had a connection to you. I had my gastric bypass at the end of August. The tool is still there so you can use it, you can make it. As for the kids my wife and I have been married for 36 years and we all ways tell people when they ask about kids "we are blessed with none."
please tell me what happened? and why you didn't ask for help only after gaining 5 pounds, why you wait until you gain all this weight again? .. I am not blaming you I know this is non sense but please tell me what to do to avoid this situtaion, did you look at your last 5 years videos? you destroy 5 years of suffering and pain.. hair loss, pain, tummy tuck.. all of this is destoryed .. you are so BRAVE to restart this journey again . we will support you.. but please tell us the learned lesson
@abirsaharty when you survived being septic and starving after a horrific emergency surgery and the loss of 90% of your pouch and the post traumatic syndrome that comes of being so close to death... how did you handle it?
I understand you wish i did different, and i am thankful for your kindness and support.. just know I TOO wish i knew what happened. the best I can say is I became unconscience in the face of the pain of reality
@massagegoddess I don't think you destroyed the last 5 years. You aren't where you were at the beginning. This is something you can correct, it's all part of YOUR journey.
Dear Amelia... I really don't know what to say it is easy to repeat all the nice talk that every one saying, I wana tell you close the door on yesterday and live day by your new journey with anew challenge, ... but i can't ... you make me cry.. and you make me so sacred to death, i am totally inspired by you, and you was one of the main reason i did my operation last year .. but thinking that one day I can return to point 0 again make me scared..
Amelia, you are human. Don't forget that. We are our own worst enemy. God forgives all simply by honestly asking for it, forgive yourself for being human....lol. You are already on the right track. Not one of us can or should even try to judge you. How many of us would have had the courage to come back on YouTube? Love you, be good to you, and take care of you! Welcome Back! Yeah, try to stay with us this time. We really do have your back.
Words can't say how happy it is just to see you back into the community again, you are totally an inspiration to so many. Remember sometimes we fall down because we are human, but you can get up because you are so special to us all here. Welcome backkkkkkkk
Girl, you are about the most bravest woman I know! So happy that you are making videos again and I just can't wait to see more. I've regained alot of weight over the last year & I have felt like a total failure. To hear someone put into words the same things that go through my head is actually motivation for me. You make me feel like maybe I can do this weight loss "thing" again! Good or Bad, I'm with ya, Amelia!
Amelia, 1st of all Welcome Back lt is wonderful to see you!!! 2nd, Don't YOU beat yourself up- You are Human and You have done one of the hardest things you can ever do in life to lose weight. Ok you regained and Now Your back to Working on lt, You have nothing to be ashamed off. Life is Life and things happen but now your back and focused and working it out. This journey is your journey and l now you will do it again and this time even better. So keep up the great work
I myself have been trying to lose weight and succeeded in losing 50 pounds from April to Decemeber but have gained ohhh about 8 pounds of it back. It's a downer but I know I can get my butt back in gear. I just got to keep in mind I am doing it for myself and my health. Good luck on your weight loss journey. Keep us posted. :)
i am so glad that you are back.. we all can gain our weight back you are not the first..the most important thing is that you are alive.. and if you lost it once you can totally do it again.. i am sure it took a lot of guts to make this video but i am glad you did. so many people have watched your journey and will continue to watch.hopefully you will keep on making videos..
You are by no means the first person to regain a lot of weight after loosing a lot. Oprah built her career on it! You were very brave for making this video. I'm in the same boat and I'm working to get it back to a manageable level. I had my second visit with a personal trainer today and just this evening I've decided to visit a nutritionist and naturopath. Good luck with your journey - you haven't gone backwards - we're just going through one of the low points!
super glad to see you. Been a subscriber of yours since you had your WLS. I never had surgery because I didn't have insurance but I got down from 300 to 201... however I have regained too back up to 255. I've been doing good since New years! We can so do this! Much <3
Good to see you back, like you said you nearly died so the fact your alive, happy and still here is more important then any weight loss . Look forward to your videos x
I'm so glad to see you back! You must realise how many people you inspire :). Life is about so much more than losing weight, and the fact that you share yours so openly with others just goes to show the strength you have inside. We're all 100% behind you - you're going to do great at whatever you set your mind to!
I too have followed all your videos and they have helped me immensely in my decision making. It has taken me 3 years of research and classes to prepare for my surgery. Back in September I had a major medical set back and have been dealing with the complications of it. I had started vlogginng to keep me honest with myself and help others in reporting all that I am learning. Due to everything that I have been dealing with I have taken a step back and now I am jumping back in. I too h
Sweetheart, make no apologies.. you've been through a hell of a lot so continue to focus on you.You are an incredible woman.. many of us have the privilege of knowing this.. and weight is not indicative of the person you are. You've helped so many people, so you are a much appreciated female. Now go win that contest!! Julie xx
I've missed u so so much.. u are the reason I finally said yes to the Rny.... U are beautiful, funny, joyful, honest and real.... Thank u for coming back..... I am grateful and excited to hop on and focus with u....
Amelia... I am so glad to see you posted a video. I too have followed you as I prepare for my gastric surgery. You have been very inspirational and informative for me.
I do know many people who lost all the weight and a little too much at times that has gained a significant amount of weight back. I know you can do it again... You have the tools and knowledge to make it happen! It takes a lot of guts to face us with your gain but equally inspiring to watch you conquer this beast!
So good to see you. You are a doll! I started watching your videos to educated myself of the whole process, as I was going to provide support to a women that had WLS. Her surgery went well, and I learned a lot from your videos. So thanks so much for all that you are and have done. Good luck and best wishes are being sent your way- all the way from the beautiful gold country of California..
You go girl!!! thank you for being so brave!!! You are such an inspiration and I know you don't think you are but truly you have done so much good for me personally with your videos and I'm sure there are many more out there that feel the same!!! So I'm cheering for you all the way out in Cali!!!
I'm so proud of what you've accomplished. You were born a fighter and a winner and you've inspired me too! I'm feeling better now that I've changed my eating patterns and chosing wisely. I'm down 18 lbs since November 4th and I feel great! You are my angel and my friend and my gorgeous daughter all wrapped up in one!
Just have to add: Don't be so hard on yourself! We all have our ups and downs. Unfortunately for some of us, the ups and downs are with our weight. Just know that WHO you are is what is most important... and you are a great person! I'm going to try to add you as a friend on Facebook... hope you'll accept! Take care!
I know it took a lot of courage to finally post another video, but I am so glad you did!! You have been such an inspiration to me! I weighed 398 lbs about 8 months ago, and tried so hard to get weight loss surgery, but was denied. I finally decided to do it on my own, which has been very hard, but I am around 330 now. I do well by keeping myself very busy and eating healthy. If I can keep losing, I may beat some of my health issues and not need the Disability I've applied for. Don't lose hope!!
I watched you for advice during my own weight loss journey starting in '07. I've maintained my weight for 2 yrs now after using hcg to lose 75 lbs. It saved my life. I also watched your tummy tuck vids for advice too - I'm now 4 months post op! I encourage you to go watch HCGCharm here on yt...she had WLS and then used hcg to get her last stubborn lbs. off. Its really something to look into. I will keep watching u!
we all get knocked down so times and its what we do when we get back up that counts. i hope that you see the amazing job you have done and are doing and just remember if you fall down dust yourself off and try again. you know you can do it and i think that your so brave to do something about it. yes it will be hard but it is worth it you worth it
Seriously, you were the FIRST person that I began to watch on WLS when I was contemplating the idea of looking into it. Hi Amelia, Its me. lol. I am so glad you posted a video update. As you know I was commenting on your page on Facebook. I gained weight too. I havnt posted a video because I am embarrased about my weight gain. It is hard to do when you dont feel good about it. Maybe other people that have the same problem with gaining can benefit from your words. I know I will. I have faith in you because you have a special calling.
So glad you can share your experience with us Amelia, I think this stuff is important for everyone to see that this isn't easy for anyone! So glad you are focused again and ready to tackle this monster that so many of us fight daily! IT isn't easy and we are proud of you for each step you take to being a better you! Hang in there and fight hard! ((HUGS))

But as you said, your not the first person this has happened to and as hard has it will be I have faith in you that you will do your best to get back to a healthy weight.

Be well. :)

@abirsaharty when you survived being septic and starving after a horrific emergency surgery and the loss of 90% of your pouch and the post traumatic syndrome that comes of being so close to death... how did you handle it?
I understand you wish i did different, and i am thankful for your kindness and support.. just know I TOO wish i knew what happened. the best I can say is I became unconscience in the face of the pain of reality
massagegoddess 1 month ago
@massagegoddess I don't think you destroyed the last 5 years. You aren't where you were at the beginning. This is something you can correct, it's all part of YOUR journey.

Much <3

I'm so glad to see you back! You must realise how many people you inspire :). Life is about so much more than losing weight, and the fact that you share yours so openly with others just goes to show the strength you have inside. We're all 100% behind you - you're going to do great at whatever you set your mind to!

Hi Amelia,
I too have followed all your videos and they have helped me immensely in my decision making. I too h

Seriously, you were the FIRST person that I began to watch on WLS when I was contemplating the idea of looking into it. I really want to cry right now knowing that you are back with us..you are STILL inspiring! You may not feel it but coming back on, fighting that fear, is inspiring. I think you are so curageous, and you'll see how you'll get nothing but support from us! I am now 3.5 months post op of RnY, and think of you daily as I have started my channel journey, BECAUSE OF YOU! Thank you!!!

I havnt posted a video because I am embarrased about my weight gain. It is hard to do when you dont feel good about it.
