like first work is good. now you have to upgrade to microprocessor. we are donig aone dmx controlled and one with dsp to implement some digital filters to better turn on light with sound. but still good work. i've done it at least 15years ago. so now you know more about triac controllers...
ok that is cool but now i want to see you make a led light show that has a flat or barrel merror and that has steppermotors for the merror a frame and a lens for the light to shine through and also use tri colour leds rgb 10mm leds. try it then post it on youtube and also look at led penguins and adj nucleous on youtube for help...
Do you have anything like a theory of operation or schematic for something like this? I'm still learning electronics and I've grasped how a TRIAC works but I'm really still not sure how I would implement one in a slightly more complex circuit. Happy new year by the way.
Nope they are rock solid - the bulbs are around 10 years old now orignals!!! from when the unit was built! - Do about 10 Disco's are year with them - so maybe 24 Hours a Year usage.
