the make-up is an act, hes always been straight and if you disagree I'm sure he could careless. He married a hot rich girl and had a daughter by her. On a different subject, just think if Nick and Greg Hawkes from The Cars (he was their synth player and very innovative like Nick) had joined forces and made some songs, WOW! That would have kicked some serious ass!!

This guy had AT LEAST six different haircuts during two years and it drives me mad just thinking about how he did that. Because they were all so different, from the Band Aid-Docu (Nov '84) to the hot Eiffel Tower mullet in "A view to a kill" (Summer '85) and thru all the Arcadia promos - blonde & black & blonde again up til the short "Notorious" style in the fall of '86. A true artist, good with synths also. I mean, he pushed Kajagoogoo into top gear too, which is another hairstory alltogether.

i tell you all what, i HATE duran duran (sounds horrid), but i will suggest that NICK should have done a SOLO PROJECT ALL ALONG. Arcadia had about 3-4 ok tracks... power station was gross ass wipe. i think nick coulda gone solo all along and done better than duran put together.

Why can't all men be as stylish as this man? He was WAY ahead of his time; Super intelligent, incredible sense of style, trendy hairstlye and looks to die for. I don't think there has ever been a man this handsome. He even extracted the most amazing sounds out of his synthesizers that no band today has a clue about. Girls were just obsessed with him in the 80's. Today's bands are just so boring compared to Duran Duran. I am not gay, but I just wish I looked like him!!!
