Im a little mad that fabe 3 was over so soon.... And yet i cried when walter died... People are always like oh you never even got to know him. The game took me 2 days, 6 hours each day. It was short but i liked Walters humor and being a girl i guess i just emotional... But walter dying was sad, personally to me,
Did people really care at all when walter died? Fable 3 is the only game, out of every game in the world that i can honestly say i HATE. Fable 1 is one of my favorite games, i loved every second of it. Fable 3 has the most boring story ever. it never made me feel bad when someone died, or if i had to choose who to kill. The ending was.. terrible. It was a 45 second fight than he just falls over and dies.
@ZombieSniper64 Because all the way throughout the story, Walter was actually portrayed as a witty, jolly, eminently likeable character that's been with the hero since their childhood and is one of their longest and closest friends. We see so much emphasis on him throughout the whole game, and the writers did such an outstanding job of characterising him and making him memorable, that when they finally make his death necessary to save the world it's completely heartbreaking. :(
@OhNoesItsDobby I didn't feel any of that. The whole game just felt so dull. I still don't understand why they had to ruin what could have been a very good series. I don't know anyone that has played fable 1 that didn't love it. They changed so much in fable 2 but it still wasn't a bad game. I couldn't care less when he died, i just wanted the game to be over. It took less than a minute to even beat the final boss.. i was more sad about that.

Fable 1 ones far from perfect but wasn't a chore to play. If you wanted to be full good and still save everyone you had to become the king of pie making and lute playing to have enough money. and whoevers idea it was to hold down the button instead of clicking it once should have been fired right when he suggested it.

It took me about 10 hours to finish the main story and a lot of side quests. then i added up the time it would take to get the rest of the money to save everyone.. and it would have been about 12 more hours of lute playing just to do it. How is that enjoyable to anyone? Other then the most casual player ever.
@ZombieSniper64 It's called renting out houses and buying shops, maxing the price, then lower the prices after you save everyone. good investment + everyone hates you = rich, good, everyone loves you, time saved, good ending.
@ZombieSniper64 I think you put too much effort into Gaming. You shouldn't have to calculate the time it'd take to beat a story, or the time it'd take for a 50. Caliber bullet to travel from one side of Operation Firestorm to the other on BattleField 3. That just makes it boring. Video games are meant to be fun, you're just making Fable 3 NOT fun.

God, I loved Walter... He was ALWAYS by your side, no matter what your decisions were, no matter how evil or how 'good' you were to your people, he was always there. He was the man a King/Queen needs just beside the throne. He taught you EVERYTHING, and asked nothing in return, and even he's last words, with his last breath were: You did me proud.
Ironically enough, this plays during whenever you are being married to whoever. Pretty cool that they used it that way, I like the melodic tune to this.

This is one scene that I can say actually made me cry. I was suprised, I never cry from games. It's almost like I actually had the bond the Hero and Walter had. I love this game so much. The Fable series is my favorite.
I knew he'd be one you'd have to fight, he's the mentor, ussually mentors betray you. It didn't help the fact he was my favorite character though, I really felt his loss. I didn't stagger though, I knew instantly he was suffering far more than death would allow. So I attacked instantly with my trusty gun and sword. Swift Irregular and Tsukuyomi, Lionhead was brilliant with this bit.
i was so sad when he died. it was like loosing an in-game father. i felt like crying so much, but my family was in the room...so i just went "Aww, no!" :(
