I have a 2008 Cadillac Escalade and a 2009 Chevy Tahoe 1LT and they are both awesome cargo and people carrier. Towing is also very good!

well there not completely identical they're shaps are similar, but there ride quality, interior, and a bunch of other stuff has been added to the escalade to make it luxury and yea GM save but loads of money, and the escalade is i think the number one selling luxury SUV in the world (correct me if im wrong)

This is one of the most irrelevant vehicles for sale today. The Suburban is ideal for very large families, but there is no point that I can think of to get a Tahoe.

How many people with medium sized families are towing things that are so heavy that you need a huge V8?! An MDX is much more practical, has a more comfortable 3rd row, drives better, is faster, etc. etc. IF someone is towing a lot of things, there is a 95% chance that they have a Silverado anyway!

I have a band....we travel with a large trailer and 5 band member. this is a perfect vehicle for us.

I have a 2000 tahoe and in 8 years of owning it all i have replaced in the engine was a water pump and fan belt. Aside from that the only other maintance expenses on the car have been new sets of tires, 2 new batteries, and oil changes. Definitely a remarkably dependable truck, I hope Chevy if nothing else from GM is able to survive.

and the 5.3l is faster to 60 compared to the expedition, and the new 6.2l has 0-60 in less than 7 seconds

Lol.. You must been dreaming when, you heard that info.! The Chevy Tahoe is the slowest from 0-60 out of the four...and, the third worst in fuel economy(betters the Ford Expy. by 1mpg. in the city but, same on the hwy.). The Ford Expy. does 7.2 from 0-60 while, the Chevy Tahoe does 7.8! Also..., out of the 4..., the Chevy Tahoe came in last place(1st. Toy. Seq., 2nd. Niss. Arm., 3rd. Ford Expy., 4th. Chevy Tah.)! You can look it up in Car&Driver if, you don't believe me. ;-)

ive seen alot of police exepdition,people buy more tohoes because there more popilar,not because there better,its has about the same towing capicity(5.3l)as a v8 ford explorer, and the same seating arragement,while the expedition has 9200lb of towing,and very spaces third row seats
