  • Has he got jumpers in his shoes? :s

  • Landed my first flat butter 540 (frontside) after watching this video, helped me a lot, but how the HELL did he pull off 720 on flat omg. I need to continue practising lol.

  • i wanna do what he does from :40 THAT IS SO SUCK

  • lame, no stokkens!!!!! huck somthin u chode sniffer. hes #1 cuz everyone else is off somwhere doing somthing that matters lmmfao

  • sooooo uh, does anybody know what kind of board he has?

  • @214106120 i think alot of them use signal boards. they are made in santa cruz. the flex is super soft thats why all their tricks are buttery as fuck

  • NOPE.

  • MFM schools this guy!

  • wtf, i didnt even know anyone was filming me when i was doing that

  • be serious...

  • damn asians being so good at everything!

  • he must have core strength for days. you gotta have some pretty decent ab strength to be liftin your legs and board like that.

  • He can only do these awesome tricks, because he is goofy.

  • This guy is a fucking ninja!! :-)

  • How can I be the only dislike? His style looks horrible. He can't even stop his spin which ends up in a lot of reverts. And his arms omg! Why does he have his arms flapping with even something as easy as a 360? This is really not that good. I am easily able to spin a 540 flat and almost a 720 if there's a reasonable bump in an indoor, imagine what I could spin on a steeper hill with more speed. I'm not saying i'm good, but i'm just saying this dude is bad

  • @Nithralas your obviously jealous u wouldn't be getting mad about it if you weren't

  • @Nithralas HAHA. If anyone was wondering what a hater looks like. He's been spotted^ You claim you can butter and spin like this guy but yet there are no videos proving it on your page. Typical of a hating little online geek So until you do post a video doing anything remotely like this, do yourself and the rest of youtube a favor... Unplug your internet; go outside and get something other than a monitor tan. I'm not saying you arent a pussy (cause you are), but i am saying you are a bitchmade.

  • @FanofTheHipHop Hey fellow fan of the hip hop! I board 4 days in the week and practically the only shit I do is flatland. I'm not an internet geek who rots away behind a computer but ofcourse you don't believe me. So I'd say challenge accepted......

  • @Nithralas: I actually agree with you on that. Once you're spinning 7's and 9's style is everything. Not only that, it seems like he's only doing one type of spin to obtain that rotation. It's not like this guy sucks though, he's probably better that me at that Nollie spin. But he does lack style. (if you want to see style, you should see the "08-09 team flair" video that's in the video suggestion list.) XD

  • @MultiShifties Seen it . I guess it's a japanese thing, but the style is again really annoying. Very spastic and not smooth.. their tricks are sick though

  • @Nithralas: I'm uploading a video now of the 2011 season at my local hill. You may find some smooth tricks in there once it's finished uploading. Unfortunately, I'm not in it much as I broke my hip during the first week of filming.

  • probably u have to detune ur edges completely to avoid catching the edge with such rotations

  • @Chombarus It's catching his edge that makes him spin so fast

  • was the last trick a 9? It's so smooth I have trouble believing it.

  • I like the tricks and the sick as hell nollie spins, but his style is a sloppy imo. He flaps around his arms too much. Especially when doing 360s. Those look aweful. If he would stop flapping his arms so much it would look cool

  • i hope every1 who is ripping on this guy probably sux because he actually go's out and does it while u guys do the research

  • @biglaxin15 you hope they probably suck? how is that possible.

  • you have to use your nose to pop off of going in to it regular like spinning off of a nose role, effortless 3's are fairly easy to get, anything above is impressive.

  • @Spookrider100 Yea, there's a definite jump in the difference between throwin 3's and 5's. It's like when I learnt to throw 5's I remember how it felt havin to fight that instinct to want to stop at 3... it felt quite surreal. It does become more natural with practice, obviously. But I've never gone beyond a 5... need to do another season... and watchin this shit is fuckin torture!! haha...

  • O_O

  • what kind of boards are they using? rocker/camber? stiff or soft??

  • @ShizzleShuffle: You can do that with any board. But in general it's better to use lightweight, soft-flex boards for this type of spinning. (probably reverse camber. but using a regular camber can get you a lot more height out of your jump which allows you more time to rotate.)

  • @MultiShifties thanks

  • @ShizzleShuffle : Welcome. :D (oh, and by the way. The only reason I know about all of this is because I've trained at this type of snowboarding for 2 years.)

  • Ye but if he does a 9 just like that, what if he hits a huge straight jump like trice??? o.O

  • This dude is nasty! Yes, I am jealous.

  • pls tell me how is possible to spin 9's 4 feet off the ground

  • it's only possible for him.. thats why hes ranked 1st in the world.. hahaha just look at how he even does 360's.. literally effortless.. woosh 360.. hahahaha

  • @moschoi: Not really. I've seen people spin 9's of off nothing before. I myself can spin a 7 off nothing. Not quite a 9, but close. He's not the only one who can do that. There is a technique to spinning like that. If you look closely at 1:27, you can see he catches his heel edge on the curve between his front binding and the nose of his board. By catching this edge you use the curvature of the board to spin. Which allows for an insane amount of rotation.

  • @MultiShifties Yea and no. It's got nothin to do with the curvature of the board. But your right in that it's where on the board he catches an edge. It's all about rotational momentum. If you catch an edge, for e.g. near the nose, the tail is still free to move. So as you catch your edge, the board at the nose stops, but the tail will still be moving and will rotate about the stopped nose. Wind your upper body and release at the same time and BOOM!! Massive rotational momentum = maaaad spin!!

  • @IdeasAboveStation: You're right about that. But after you catch that edge your board is still moving forward. And as your board begins to rotate the edge you're using also changes. (Btw, I actually find that it's easier for me to do these switch. I can get more height since I'm using the leg I ollie with. It doesn't change my rotational speed, but it gives me more time to rotate. I actually learned to do switch 7's before regular 7's. XD)

  • @MultiShifties I don't really understand that technique. Care to explain it better? Or do you know any videos on that subject?

  • @Nithralas: Hahaha, no I couldn't find ANY videos on the subject. I tried looking everywhere. At one point I got so frustrated I "almost" created and uploaded my own instructionals. XD But if you want I could send you a PM better explaining that technique.

  • @moschoi ranked first in the world? i can do this stuff so can most of the kids at coc.. hahaha

  • @boardinjorden No, you can't

  • @boardinjorden You have to be really stupid to think anyone believes you.

  • @TheCowboyssuperbowl how about this. ill post a video this winter and if i suck ya rag all you want but iff its better you gotta admit your wrong.. last time no one could beleive i could do 720 let alone 1080 and i posted a video of a 7 and the guy apoligized

  • @TheCowboyssuperbowl i dont think anyone beleives me, thats why im making a film this year so kids like you stfu

  • @moschoi 360's need no effort when you're doing it on the ground. Still this guy's amazing

  • @ikilledmacdre: Watch closely at 1:27.

  • Comment removed

  • @ikilledmacdre asian thats the secret

  • at 1:47 did he just own a 9 on flat ground?

    This is sick!

  • @melvinsatine

hmmm, he pre-rotates 90° an sliding the last 90°, can u real call this 9?

but still sick, keep shredding! =)
