  • ive created sounds similar to this with multiples tracks of guitar with mah ebow.

  • This unctuous, magical sound - this sound - it scratches an itch that I didn't know existed...

  • Suitable for hymns indeed!

  • Sounds like a cross between the Moody Blues and Ravi Shankar! Incredible!

  • This sounds like a Robot-God's bagpipe (that's good, really good!). Awesome.

  • Wow... if 5 minutes of random tweaking on that thing sounds this good, I can't wait to hear what it sounds like when it's finished. This is amazing.

  • Wow!!! Leon, that was AWESOME! I heard a lot about the hymnotron and it was extraordinary actually listening to the prototype. Keep it up! (Nice meeting you BTW) Wyn...(Brian's Friend from LA)

  • I can't explain why, but this feels good in my head - there is a similar sound made by human voice, a song by the group "The Knife" song: Na na na - and it too feels good playing loud in my ears. I really don't know why.

  • Fantastic design with lots of potential. Well done.

  • really beautiful. and a very interesting sound.

  • Thanks for posting!

  • Truely impressive! Great job!

  • Love it. Brilliant and mesmerizing.

  • Hi, Dana -

So glad you enjoy! Since this posting, we've completed the Hymnotron and will definitely post more soon.

It was an honor and a pleasure sharing the stage at Poisson Rouge with you and Jean Jaques last fall, btw - you guys were awesome and inspiring!

    Best,

    Leon

  • Well, thanks for that! I'm sorry we didn't meet properly that night. JJ was feeling ill before the show, and it was just too crazy, getting the stage ready.

Hope we can meet up again!

    Best, - Dana

  • That tone is just spellbinding. The clarity of the intonation just makes it glow! Please put up some more... And maybe a layman's explanation of what those two miles of wire do.

    Thankyou thankyou thankyou
