FOR IP ADRESS: idk if this helps at all so bare with me if it doesnt; go to the settings and stuff and set the IP adress to "Automatic". it should automatically pick up the IP adress. yeah. :P

You have to put in the some numbers in the linksys page set up type this in your internet bar 192.168.1.1. then this little sign in window pops up and you leave the username blank the password is admin then go to games and apps then you have to type some numbers in . you can get them from youtube search linksys xbox live setup.

shawnstunner1982, u can only connect to media center if the ethernet is connected to the tower of the computer. if the ethernet is connected to the router u cannot connect to media center, this is because the information for media center can not run with the internet through a ethernet,

Im experiencing problems with xbox live and my connection. i filled in the correct information in the dns settings ip... additional settings e.t.c. i plugged in my ethernet cable to test if xbox live was working, it then keeps coming up with a message which says this,

"Can't Connect to Xbox live. Select Test Connection to troubleshoot. or try recovering you're profile or visit xbox support".

1) you need xbox live to recover you're gamer tag / profile. i have tried evythn.
