What the game? It's been out since the 90's. There's a manga based on the game, I read it today. Only 1 volume though, split into 5 Chapters. The opening is animated, but as far as I know there isn't an animé for it.... : )

Ok I have this game.....I love Atlus to Death, but this game is a total failure. It's basically like playin Azure Dream, but insted of ally mobs you get items and other weapons only. It really isnt worth the time nor the money. You do the same dungeon 3 or 4 times and thats it game beat

@striker8940 But the game isn't beat after that. There's tons of extra stories to unlock as either of the brothers, as well as background information for a bunch of characters.

Nope, I think very highly of Baroque.

One of my favorite games actually (though I shouldn't say that since I'm still trying to go past -1600cubit depth but you know ... whatever .P)

This is the opening movie to a video game called Baroque. It's available on PS2 and Wii. If you have one of those systems and think you can handle a very difficult and old-fashioned action/RPG with a fantastic story and soundtrack, then I'd recommend it.

Yeah i got it for ps2.... Hard as nails.. and they say Demon's Souls for the ps3 is tough... lol you have to try Baroque!Just to be a bit of spoiler i'll just say this:you have to die at some time in some level of the freaky Neural Tower for the story to advance,nasty!!I KNOW!!

you should talk to Eliza in her room and she will ask pure water, back in the outer world longneck bury himself kick ghim and kill him the take his crystal to the sentry angel give it to him, go to the tower get killed, return the idiot of the sentry angel has bury himself enter the lab get your idea sephira go to the tower and give it to eliza in -1500...the the story goes on....

Baroque isn't hard all the time. its a rogue-like game, so you gotta play it different. That and some stuff about the game just plain creeps you out.

I've done many a exploration in the tower and monsters just pop up like, "O HAI THAR" and i'll be all "FDGDSFJH" and almost die or just die.

I need to pick it back up and finish it.
