I haven't played this first Alundra but Alundra 2 in my opinion is the best ps 1 game there is. And I HAVE played stuff like Final Fantasy VII / VIII / IX. Alundra 2 is just so damn good.

well you could go to some special game stores that actually sell old games or to comic stores. i find that they have the wildest selction of classic games. if not try emulating them on your computer by getting copies of them off of torrent download sites

This game was never really that popular because Street Fighter came out just before hand. So naturally, everyone was raping Street Fighter while this came out, and by the time everyone was bored of SF, they'd all forgotten about Alundra. A sad story. The game was bought out too early is all. *Sigh* Such a good game.

Alundra was one of my favourite games on PS1 with Final Fantasy 7, Castlevania, Suikoden, Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

Its...inferior i'd say...

Its graphics and combat are a bit improved but the platforming is...ugh.....

its 3D 3rd person fixed camera platforming and its.....icky.. he still has the dash though.

I remember i was so jealous of my friends playing ocarina of time so I started to do some research on a game similar on my good old psx (before my internet era). it took me a year to find this game, about a month to find the name and the rest tracking it down since alundra 2 (piece of shit) was already out and that was all that was on the stores.
