Wide angle photo's are unsharp in the edges due to the extreme zoom lens.
HD 720p video is OK on a LCD tv, but only with close objects, landscapes are crap. Good camera considering the price though.

27.6-414mm zoom gives exellent panoramic shots in wide screen - and don't forge the video is HD. For the money nothing can beat it.
