@bassn0te :In this case I'm playing the 12-String with just 6 Strings. I was playing a Classical Guitar for years and was used to a wide neck (thats the reason). in the meantime i,m playing a 45mm neck..

Indeed you can do fingerpicking on a 12 string. I love my 12 string for that. You just have to choose the right one with a big distance between the strings.

Hey ,tolles stück ;)! wusste gar nich ,dass fingerpicking auf ner 12 saitigen gitarre geht ! oO oder haste nur 6 drauf gemacht? Klingt toll ,aber bei mir sind die nägel innerhalb kürzester Zeit so gut wie zerstört ,wenn ich auf western spiele ! ):

@Benw911: Ich habe die Gitarre nur mit 6 Saiten bespannt. Ich komme von der klassischen Gitarre und brauchte am Anfang einen breiteren Hals. Mittlerweile spiele ich aber eine 6-saitige Western mit 45mm Hals. Mit den Nägeln habe ich keine Probleme(mit 10er Saiten), da ich nicht sehr laut spiele -Gruß

love the slow side to side rhythm - elements of your embellishments remind me of the wonderful Doyle Dykes even if his personality is a bit intense for my palate at times - anyway great solid bassline makes this for me - being highly critical in a constructive way, minor deviations from the lovely rhythm marr that dum - dum heart of the beat slightly - but I know how hard it is lol - good stuff!

@mjt11860 (Given that this video is actually 6-string) The technique for playing both strings of a 12-string pair involves having the last joint of the finger relaxed, not clawed; imagine brushing ashes or dust of the edge of a table.

Thats right - because I  played a classical guitar for long time I prefered a neckwith over 48 mm - in the meantime I play a 6-String guitar with 45 mm neck, Greetings Kurt
