Now for my technical critique.Biggest error here:responding to every attack. You should learn how to clinch/shut down the opponent by moving in when they attack, jamming their kick. That way you dont have to work so hard and can pick opportunities to counterattack when you like. Here, the yellow belt is trying to kick back every time. Also, add some bouncing and checking motions.Make your opponent wait and guess. Here,he can predict that every time you move, you intend to make contact.Make them guess.
i was at that competition for 2008. it was last saturday. guess what nobody was in my weight divsion so i got moved up then got destroyed there. Not a surprize for other people to not be 17-35 in under 48KG division. I was only 17 and had to fight a 23 year old who had 14KG on me so i was overpowered.
They were not here long, couple years maybe? Sad that all the TKD clubs closed down that were available for the public to train at. Now there is only RMC and Queen's remaining :((
Listen here squirt. Your distancing sucks but your speed is good and you have potential.I dont know who chong lee shibal is, but here's some of the best advice you'll ever get: If you want to improve dramatically and get world class olympic training in the NY area, go to Peter Bardatsos tkd in queens. Website is bardatsos tkd . com I believe. Check it out. I trained there and won nationals and junior national team trials when I was 16. You will do well. I promise.Cost is less than 100/mo.
im a yellow belt i got it yestorday maha dont rush in so much who won? ah but this is going to be my 1st tournament on sat.... damn it try roundhouse roundhouse back kick or spin hook kick dont start out on a back kick when they do roundhouse u do back kick defence thing
i got a tip, your the blue at beginning right? well, if you ever see a guy running at you like the other guy did, hold your ground and just stick him in the face or chest with a back turning kick (very deadly)is it me or did that guy with the dot seem a little over confident?
