okay that was harsh of me...but you can trell thevy been skating a good while...and they could be alot better if they have acces to alot skateparks thats all.
me and my friends can skate only hlaf of the year because in ireland it rains all the time, and were all skating under 2 years,i can honestly say i know epople under 16 i know who could beat these guys easily...still alright skating
Well....that's cool. They should go to some comps if they are that good. The weird thing about a 60 second run is that it is really HARD to land everything and put together a good line. You should try it yourself and see how hard it is, especially when you're tired and under pressure. You can watch some of these kids' edits and see how good they really are.
yeah i understand...theirs only like 3-4 comps in ireland a year...i know what its like under a clock and pressure...iv only entered 1 compeition and it can be pressurfull under the clock, but i won that compeitition i entered 1st place:) so iknwo what its like but. ill check some of their names up now.
too bad shawn fell he had some big tricks. if you fall yur out in these runs. thats why I like jams. but these kids really skated well. what is the age limit for advanced?
I actually was betting that Shawn Martin would win. He had the most different type of tricks...720 the box, unity the rail, backflip 180 transfer...you have good days and bad days, but I'm glad Reed got 2nd cause we worked hard on his line. The age is 10-15 years old. There's a beginnner/intermediate division for 10-15 year olds and this was the advanced division. There's also a 9 and under division and 16 years old and up beginner/intermediate and 16 and up advanced.
Well...that's nice to say. He actually only lost by one point and on his first run, he didn't have enough time to do his last two tricks (the 540 over the box and the outspin soul). If he would have gone just a little faster, he might have won because his second place win was for his first run score.
You just have to compete in one AIL during the year to qualify for finals. Yeah, I didn't tape Nick's first run, which was the run that got him 3rd place.
Awesome! Maybe one of these days I can enter the AIL comp. I'm not sure, I don't know if I could be good enough, but I hope so. Its funny, every time I see a different video of Reed, he always has a different pair of skates haha.
Yeah...he trades alot. You could always enter the beginner division. The AIL is supposed to be for kids just learning how to compete and then you move up through the divisions until you turn pro.
Oh sweet. So, are there certain days every year that they have this? And do you just show up and enter or do you do a prior comp to see if you qualify?

Don`t you have to be invited to AIL to go?

You have to enter one comp to qualify for the finals. The finals are always at Woodward West.
brandigr2 3 years ago
Oh okay. So the comps that you have to atleast do one are usually where at? Or are they all at Woodward East?
BrandtInline 3 years ago
Sorry for the double post. Also, is the AIL only at Woodward West? Or is it at Woodward East also?
BrandtInline 3 years ago
did you film the 10-15 beginner?
forpie98 3 years ago
No...but Zach Merino won and he has an edit of his runs of his youtube page.
