@CardozoJuanCarlos Ventura was very popular in South America in the early 1940s - in the info I'm mentioning about Latino-American episode in his career.
@fredjmp Thanks, Fred! It's really a lovely song and I think, the Ventura's version (compared with Charles Trenet's) extracts from that simple tune its whole swing & jazzy compounds
@barbcard My dear B., how sad, we never had "our" Paris experience! These photos and their atmosphere remind me, however, of "our Berlin" - there are sometimes similar coblestones little streets in the areas we visited. Do you remember the lunch we had in Kathe Kollwitz Platz? Or Oranienburger Strasse neighborhood? Very much alike.
Great swing... loving it!

Lovely tune, and the vintage photos are precious. Guimard Art Nouveau metro metalwork never stop to thrill me.

Oui, Oui, Gregoire, we're rushing along those cobblestones; hurry so we don't miss the train.
