  • GREAT VIDEO

  • What do you machine recommend for milling computer CPU water blocks for Small business owner?

  • @WildoTheRubberFist - For milling heat sinks, any DATRON machine is ideal. Since you need to make small heat sinks that would fit in a CPU, you don't need the larger bed size so the DATRON M7 would be perfect.

  • @DatronCNC Thank you, I'll check it out

  • ~Is that coolant of just air lol

  • For milling aluminum this machine uses an ethanol alcohol coolant which an ideal coolant for high-speed, micro machining because a thinner-than-water viscosity allows the ethanol to quickly cover and cool more surface area on fast-moving micro tooling. The low evaporation point of ethanol makes it an efficient cooling solution. Plus, ethanol evaporates leaving no residue on machined parts, which makes de-greasing, obsolete and lowers labor costs. For steel this machine uses an oil-mist coolant.
