Obviously us gringos have it much easier: we can enter Mexico easily as tourists and stay up to 6 months there. Some gringos work there others retire, every 6 months they cross the border for 1 day and go back again. Not everyone is in love with living in the US of A, and some of those retired gringos are ex-patriots for political reasons.
Cool! I get sick of the negative ping-pong that goes on with sites like Ebay, YouTube and CraigsList. I started the negative flow, sorry. I like for the internet, especially the self-expression & it provides a place where people can discuss things. Obviously most 3rd world people want to work in the US economy. If I was in their shoes I'd be coming to the US too, in any way I could. Hunger makes people do things in desperation.
you assume because I'm American that I have no culture...when in fact,
I live in a cesspool of world culture. I know what's going on around the world, I just don't travel beacuse I can't afford it. I appreciate all cultures in the world and the differences they have, and it is subjective crap like your postings that make no sense...
Subjective crap, okay. Be more specific: You said "I stay in my land in hopes that they will stay in theirs", but now you say that you stay in your land because you "can't afford to it"(travel). If you had a business in southern or northern USA, you would be very happy to have people from Mexico or Canada come over to spend money. You live in a cess pool of culture? Move! You don't like new immigrants? I imagine the Native Americans didn't like outsiders either.
the "I stay in my land" wasn't literal, it meant im not gonna go cause problems in someone's country and I expect the same back. 'Too poor to travel' cause I am an American citizen, Broke is what most of us do. and if i Did have money, yeah I'd vacation in other places and i could care less who vacations here. but like i said, i wouldn't go fucking up people's countries (ie illegally immigrate there)when i said Cesspool of culture i wasn't complaining, it was just a joking metaphor.
There's a song that goes "Say what you mean, mean what you say." I guess if I knew your writing style better I'd get the metaphors more clearly("my bad" as the young people say). I know many people who travel the world as part of their work, and they are pretty broke people, they just happen to have work that pays their airfare. Many gringos work while on travel visas in other lands, they just don't get caught or burden that system for benefits. I have rarely met a lazy Mexican, here or there.
More gringos need to travel to other lands and see how people live, both their hardships and culture. Gringos might start with nearby Mexico or Jamaica. If they can spend a few days away from their resort hotels they'll see many beautiful and horrific things and they will return to the USA with more open minds & hearts.
Imagine if your great-great grandparents had stayed in their country: you would not be where you are now. Duh!! By staying in your land you remain under-read, less informed and will probably keep writing ignorance-infused things on the (international) internet. Yeah, reeeal epic, alright!
THese people of Darfur are the rightful inhabitants of that country, they need a homeland just like palestinians claim.
