I do agree with you about using them as blushes and highlighters and etc. I have this color and it gives me a nice subtle glow. I think it shows up differently on different skin colors of course and maybe the type of foundation you use too...Great review!!!

WOW it seems like your isn't sheer at all, mines is very pigmented and glowy if that makes any sense lol. You probably got a bad batch.

@08blanca It's not that it came from a "bad batch" only that the MSFs all tend to vary. Some folks get ones that have more of the darker shades and some gets one with more of the light.

I have to kindda disagree with this review. This is NOT a blush, it is skinfinish, it's supposed to give you glow-y skin and not ton of color. As far as pigmentation goes, mine is super pigmented.. seriously i have to be carefull with my brush when using this product.. because there is such thing as too much. This is one of my very few HG items.

@InbetweenTheReality Yes, I am aware this isn't a blush. I don't believe I ever said it was, only that I prefer to use the MSFs as blushes. Keep in mind that the MSFs tend to vary so yours could very well be more pigmented than mine.

Hi Irene, love your videos!

I bought one of these today, but when i went home i noticed that the dome was overall a lot flatter compared to my refined MSF, which i've barely used. Also, one side of the dome was rather flat, period. Could MAC have sold me an item someone else returned?

lululand90: IDK but MAC doesn't put returned items back on the shelves, as there's no way for them to know for sure if they've been used. However there may have been some rogue MA who did it anyway.

Also, I've noticed that sometimes the dome size varies. The dome of my Triple Fusion is higher than my PP, both of which were new.

I agree. The color in the compact is gorgeous! But I can't even see it when you swatch it. I think if you're gonna pay that much for Mac..it has to be pigmented. Or else, you would be better off with a drug store product and have better results!

Porcelain Pink was the first item in this collection that popped out to me when the promo images were released and I wanted it instantly, but when I went to MAC to get my Color Craft goodies, I swatched it and kinda hated it. =\ It wasn't pink at all and was chalky and chunky. I got the Smooth Merge instead and love it.

I was looking at getting this, but decided on the triple fusion msf instead. To me it seemed more versatile, and the pink color showed up better on my skin than porcelain pink did.

it's a crapton of glitter though....sheesh

tamswashere: That's my problem with a lot of the MSFs - too much glitter. I have found a few that aren't too glitter crazy but even still they can be too much sometimes.

i have this msf, and i love it! i usually layer it on top of a more pigmented pink blush, so maybe thats why i dont notice any chalkiness. it just gives my skin such a pretty, candle-lit glow. good review!

Hi Irene, Is Porcelain pink similar to the blonde msf color, or perfect topping?

frogmorten: I don't know about Perfect Topping as I don't have that one but compared to Blonde, Porcelain Pink is a much lighter and pinker color.

I did look at swatches of Perfect Topping and it appears more peach compared to Porcelain Pink's more pink tone.
