  • That is not at all how I was taught to consume root beer floats. I stab the straw through the ice cream so you get an even mix of ice cream and soda. But alas I was not born in the states, and as the naturalized citizen that I am I could be mistaken.

  • im my country (Costa Rica) we do the same EXCEPT with coca-cola.

we calle it ''Black Cow'' or ''Vaca Negra'' (in spanish)

  • I'm american and that sounds really gross.

  • @Ferretl0ver444 You're telling me that you've never had a fucking root beer float?

  • @valiummmmmmmm Nope

  • USA USA USA

  • you know what i hate? when americans think that is the only british accent...

  • Root Beer is disgusting. Especially root beer in float form.

  • No no no...you don't just EAT the leftover icecream- you keep adding root beer until you've finished the bottle. THEN you can dig in. ;)

  • SHES SO PRETTY!

  • why is there french flag behind you

  • @Primarycoulors I hung up three towels behind me just so I'd have the colors. Honest to goodness, I didn't notice that it looked like the French flag in the frame until I was halfway through shooting.

  • amerca sucks

  • @Primarycoulors FUCK YOU

  • none of that crappy french vanilla stuff. regular vanilla. THE FREEDOM FLAVOR(:

  • Glad You Don't Make The British So Stuck Up To What Family Guy Doess It As!

    THANKYOU!!

  • Is it weird that when you said 'hiddy-hoe there!' I automatically thought of Home Improvement?? Uhhhhg. :/

  • This works with most of your favorite sodas!! fell free to experiment, good luck!!

  • @EmoGirl14AndMustache Orange soda + vanilla = sex in the mouth. I'm not talking about that soft core crap, I mean a full blown, earthquaking, light-flickering f%#k fest.

  • Love the new look, Al. ;)

  • i dont think i've ever had a real root beer float. I want one though :/

  • I'm American and I hate root beer (think about the taste regular cola would have if it were somehow moldy. Ick.), this works really well with Coke too. I'm fairly certain they sell Coca Cola everywhere, now you have no excuse not to try this.

  • @AllieMcKeen What exactly is root beer I'm from New Zealand and we don't have that here well at least I think we don't but we do make "spiders" just like that Aussie dude said

  • @Ya0ifanboy It's a sweet, carbonated beverage made from sassafras root. Most Americans love it, but I've met many people from other countries that don't like it. The flavor is difficult to describe. You just have to try it.

The obvious problem is that root beer is difficult to find outside the US and Canada. If you really want to try it, you may have to order it online. :(

  • @AllieMcKeen There are actually European versions and similar versions of which is both in Europe and America. The most notable European one is Malzbier, of which is made of Water, Malt and Humulus. The most notable one which is in both in America and Europe is Ginger Ale, of which is made of Water, Sugar and Ginger roots. And we have Root beer in Europe. I can easily go to the grocery store and get some, but i prefer Malzbier.

  • @AllieMcKeen its easy to make tho

  • Love it! Good Vid!

  • is it creepy to say your my role model?

  • In Australia, we call the ice-cream/fizzy-drink mix "Spiders". I have no idea why. A lot of things don't make sense here...

  • I was going to comment on the french flag, but I'm glad you noticed first!

  • you watch charlieissocoollike don't you......

  • The things you guys consider food scares me.

  • There's only one kind of root beer in Australia... A&W... and I can only find them in Asian provision shops.

  • If I were to put the rootbeer in the glass first and then add the ice cream, what would that make me?

  • Haha! The first thing I thought was: "Why is she sitting in front of the french flag if she's gonna talk about America?" and then you made me laugh when you noticed it.

  • So glad my parents werent hippies. I love steak

  • yum...would this work with lemonade?

  • @TheIzzySquishy I'm not sure lemonade (I assume you mean lemon-lime soda since you're from the UK) would work with vanilla ice cream (I've never tried.) but it would definitely work with almost any fruity sherbet.

  • @AllieMcKeen We have lemonade in the UK

  • @NingaMooMoo But is your lemonade carbonated? I was under the impression that it was, but I could very well be mistaken. American lemonade is always flat.

  • @AllieMcKeen Ur. Its both.

  • My mouth began to water- I want ice cream now!

  • "That's the french flag - isn't it? *SIGH*"
