  • I remember when i was a kid, playing with rotating dial phone like that in my Grandpa house, it's really rare nowadays to find that kind a phone, most people didn't have a home phone anymore, we using smart phone or mobile phone.

  • 63 years later we can make a phone that can fit into a child's pocket and no wires needed to communicate! Just imagine?

  • people who dislike this dont understand the irony.

  • Wonderful! thanks for posting this :)

    do you know where i can find a copy, is it available on dvd? Do you know more work of this kind?

  • How exactly do you need silver, cotton, and leather to make a telephone? o_O;;

    2:57- Greatest expression I've ever seen XD XD

  • Cotton for the phone cord's outer covering. That was the norm in those days.

  • needs riffing.

    Jam handy reminds you to keep your preserves in a convienent location.

    A lot like Coliy indeed. Except Coily's voice was soooooooo annoying.

  • This guy is apparently Coiley the Spring Sprite's long-lost brother! Not as funny though... Still, these old shorts are amusing enough without MST3K's help.

  • I remember using a phone like that when I was about 6 years old! They were very heavy...maybe 6 or 7 pounds and could ring VERY loud.

  • I wish I could find a kit to build an old telephone like that
