The flag burning is highly uncommon at protests, I've been to all of the national protests in DC and New England and honestly have never seen it.

Burning the flag represents a persons opinion on what the flag stands for, pointing out that it has been flown in some pretty shitty circumstances, which, for the sake of brevity I will not describe.

You mean "wtf makes a war illegal?" The fact we were led into it through lies: WMD's. Once none were found, we should have left, but instead the administration changed the reason to Bush's vision, and liberating the people of Iraq. What the American public isn't told is that the overwhelming majority of Iraqis want the occupation out, but the puppet gov't the US is setting up would be overthrown by the Shiite majority.

I guess the point is made by the so called people who want to burn the flag. Many men and women have died for the colors on the flag and to burn it show the some of the most disrespect imaginable. Even more disrespectful than those laying down for the "DIE-IN" Even after the Gold Star families objected. Some brave americans, I say get the hell out if u want to desecrate the flag.

If you want to stop someone for burning the flag you should leave America. Its called the bill of rights. It was created during the founding of the USA to protect against tyranny. There are no laws in the constitution to protect you from the things you don't want to see because your view of right and wrong is going to be different than everyone else. God bless America!
