I have heard from reviews of other brands that the shields give a rubbery feel when handling. Also the reviews warned of a lot of friction on the screen, making finger dragging difficult.
A rubbery feel when handling? No I didn't get that at all, BodyGuardz are nice and smooth. And I have never experienced 'friction on the screen'...maybe they have a heavy hand.
I don't have Bodyguardz... but I do have an Invisishield on my PSP. And YES--it does have a grippy-er feel (i.e. rubbery) to it. My Invisishield does.
So I imagine the Bodyguardz will too... which is not necessarily a bad thing. I much prefer that grip when handling... except on the touch surface.
In that regard, I've read that *by comparison*--Bodyguardz is less grippy. That, and the fact that they give you two sets... makes me lean toward Bodyguardz.
they run for about $25 for full body protection, and they give you two of each: front and back, which is nice just incase you mess up with the first ones.

Have you experienced the same with this product?

no, sensitivity is just as responsive as without. i had an issue maybe once a month, but i really think it was the phone and not the product
