Judy, on the Mike Douglas show, that this wasn't one of her favorite songs. However I think it's a delightful Berlin fun fun concoction. It's fluff, but it's great fluff. I love the story that Judy tells about how they used the wrong lens on the camera. They built this working elevator and had the close up lens on them LOL. Gosh Judy had such a great sense of humor. We miss you Judy:)
@TheManThatGetAway Does IMDb prove that no one dubs him? Did Peter ever say something about it? What's the best proof you can find that Peter is singing himself? He is not known as a singer.
@Goedhartbros This voice isn't that great, seems like if they were going to have someone dub for him, they'd have someone that sounded like him but better. This sounds like him and isn't very good, so i would think it was him. He sang in "Good News" didn't he?
@Goedhartbros No (I just looked it up), apparently he did his own singing. Thats one movie i've always wanted to see. Funny cause its a musical but has two people who aren't the GREATEST singers : June Allyson and Peter Lawford.
@SariaLink987 Are you 100% sure? Even the French Lesson wasn't dubbed? I still hope for proof that Peter Lawford did the singing himself. I wonder the same thing about Grace Kelly singing True Love and Jerry Lewis singing Every Street's a Boulevard In old New York.
@Goedhartbros I can't PROVE that he did his own singing, but IMDB (as TheManThatGetAway said already) is pretty reliable (more so than wikipedia, anyway), and it said that he did his own singing...
@Goedhartbros They always lipsynced to their prerecorded playbacks and Peter does sing his own songs. If you notice in the beginning of the scene before they get saught in the rain that Judy'sfeather is up right but the dye from the feather ran down her face so when they had to reshott the scene, the MGM ppl placed Vasoline on the feather so it wouldnt run and you can tell the feather has vasoline on it Judy told this story on the Mike Douglas show in aug 1968 with Peter Lawford next to her
I love it!!! :)

You can tell me to shut up, but does his voice remind anyone else of George Harrison?
