This is a scientific show, an educational TV program that shows foundamental concepts to non-medical people.Pathologists are great: thanks to their studies today we can save a lot of people.Thank you from Italy (sorry for my English) for uploading these videos. To have those TV program in Italy is almost impossible: the Catholic Church would avoid it, and since the public TV (called RAI, it's like your BBC) is controlled by parties, and since parties are controlled by church... well u understood

@vickypickyX3 I've been around formalin fixed corpses and plastinated organs. Formalin has a bit of a nauseating smell but isn't that bad; the worst of it is when you first open a brain bucket and get a concentrated whiff of it. Plastinated parts don't really smell like much. I haven't had the pleasure of smelling fresh corpses yet so I can't help you there (although I suppose I have worked in the same room).

@vickypickyX3 I've been taking part in about 10 autopsies so far in med school, and I can tell you that yes, the corpse gives of a smell. There is a basic smell which all corpses have, which isn't that bad. On the other hand, the content of the bowels can give off a variety of stenches, and some of them can be really bad.. Also the most of the internal organs can give off unpleasant odors in case of specific diseases.
