wow you look great .....when did you start? how long dose it take to look like that? i want to start on power 90 by next week....i'm doing some research...hope you can help Thank you
@xjustjoeyx I started in July 2010. The results in the video was after a round of Power 90 and a round of Insanity. I had some down between the programs but so it really took about 8 months, but it was 5 months of following the programs. I have gone through P90X and Insanity the Asylum since then but I havent finished the vid. If you are looking to start, or have already started, I'd love to help you out with it! If you want some help and motivation, shoot me an email: bryan_may@ymail.com
Pretty much followed the nutrition plans but I stuck mostly with the P90X Fat Shredder Plan. The biggest thing that helped me was tracking my food intake using MyFitnessPal. That really helped me hit my calorie goals for the day and keep track of my protein, carb, and fat intake as well.
@kjkill3r I do have stretch marks and I've had them for many years. They don't bother me alot now because I don't really notice them. They've faded as I've lost weight. Anyways, I look at them as reminders that I never want to get fat again!
As far as the loose skin goes, there is some but its not really noticeable unless I get down in a push up position and then the skin sags. Standing up it's not bad. I thought my man boobs would turn to saggy loose skin but they actually firmed up.
@kjkill3r The bottom line is that it doesn't matter that I have loose skin or stretch marks now. I look and feel a hell of a lot better than I did when I was fat. That shouldn't be anything that stops anyone from losing weight, not even for anyone that is bigger than me
For Power 90, I followed a balanced diet of Carbs and protein at about 1500 calories a day. For Insanity, I followed nutrition closer to the P90X nutrition guide which is much higher in protein, and less carbs and also increased my calorie intake to 1800. I ate 5-6 small meals a day as well. I used whey protein to help me get the extra protein intake. Now that I am doing P90X, I added Shakeology as a supplement which is really helping lose the last bit of fat I'm trying to get rid of.
awesome work !!! great commitment man you look a totally different person, congrats on your achievement keep going!!! did you use any supplements during your workout what was the diet like?
Talon: LOL Thanks! I'm working hard to get that way! I have definitely come a long way. There is a lot of stuff I can do now that I never thought I could ever do
