This was quite a fun little pseudo-trailer! I've been poking about on your channel, and though they're all quite tremendous, I just have to comment on this one. I had my own plans to make a similar trailer, but using the "historical" perspective, footage of period battles, ancient cities, stuff like that. Obviously a little fantasy would be needed, but Howard was more about realism + fantasy, instead of fantasy + realism. Anyway, fantastic job all the same. I wouldn't mind Perlman as Conan!

You can make a conan movie really good, as you have so much good story to pick from and it has a really nice theme.

I think the next Conan should be an unknown. But as for Filmmakers being more faithful don't get too excited they ALL say that about adaptions and few live up to it. I fear this will be more along the lines of the re-boot trend that's happening, I.E Bond and Batman, so expect a lot of dark cinematography, flowery dialogue but ultimately a PG-13 popcorn fest. I do hope I'm wrong though.

Yea The Dark Knight was awesome but I fear the template doesn't work as well for others as I say I do hope I'm wrong. I'd like it better if the based the films on each story, like the original Bonds and not do a mash up loose based film as I'm tired of 'well it's in the spirit of the originals' sort of thing. Short stories transfer better into screenplays anyway as the writers have to expand instead of cut back.

totally agreed, they are going to destroy the one man all the evil in Hyborea couldn't...it should be an unknown cast for the role, and i kinda think that arnold set a precedent for the need of an accent, it just gives the character a more barbaric feel to him.

Hmm, well yea, combat system makes AoC unique, and in time it'll get more better and better as WoW did, but I can hardly play it on my computer, and I expect Warhammer MMO to have nontheless same combat system as in wow, so I don't think there'll be any active combat mmos out there soon.. As for WoW I like its lore too damn much:) I'm gonna order the first book, The Well Of Eternity as soon as possible:)

Yeh I've reconsidered playing it so many times, and I've heard its very glitchy so I dunno:)

I haven't heard it's that glitchy, just missing some components. New patches however I think have cleaned it up. I hope other games too take on more visceral MMO combat, with combos, actually mouse driven combat dependent on strikes rather then numbers, and of course fatalities!

I wanted to play AoC for some time, but I'm not sure if they make it for Mac. Also I'm always speculative of monthly fees. But definitely, I'd love to play an MMO with more visceral combat and a different universe then the generic fantasy one.
