Mac OS 9.0.4-9.1 is supported, 9.2.2 is not supported by the drivers. You'll need to upgrade to OS X or downgrade to OS 9.1.

The unit was touch activated, if I could have calibrated it in Linux I'd have kept it. I might still be able to get ahold of the owner of it, but, I don't really care about your opinion that much. @kcfoxie I was just on a Mac learning hunt on Google, and there is no such thing as this. Infact. I can see the Black mouse pointer with my Huge ass Moniter, 50 inch! P.S. I can inhance video! So yes! It's a fake! Also not one of these static conducters of screens can operate touch. I know! I'm an expert. - AnE Productions

@NiKKiBSEXCii CTS works no matter what the input device, all the same, no one seems to think about that when it comes to the capacitive-touch displays (like iPhones) that are rampant in today's market. Also note this iMac was a 2000 model I believe, it may have been a 2001. It was one of the last years of the G3, so that puts it at 10 to 11 years old today. This was exceptionally high technology back then.

if you didn't know thats an iMac G3, they were made between 1998 & 2001, so of course its going to be slow by todays standards

Yeah, the new iMac's G8's with Quad duo processors have them, you have to have Quad duo to handle the buffer for a touch screen, since the display resolution is HDxH, the new improved HD format. I'm getting one for my birthday..! :D

No, the new iMac's come "out of the box" like most Apple products, it's just plug & touch, no installation at all..! :D

I got mine for 3499,- € and that's incl. VAT. The Quad duo system needs a lot of cooling so I bought an external water-induced electro switch as well. That cost me about 500,- €. The HDxH format is just amazing, you can put your hand on the screen and it recognizes it's you, it talks to you and can project a hologram into the room with movies and stuff. It's just awesome, totally worth it! What Mac do you have btw?

They are rare this model was done by elo and there are very few still in existence and even fewer that work. They are very special!

the only way i know to create a touchscreen is with a wiimote and a ir pen

It came with an ELO iTouch display preinstalled from the factory.... (or read the other comments)
