I have GAD and have a year off university and aim to use any resource available to get out of it or at least to the point I have sex drive and appetite back. I think if I have them back I will be out of the bubble of depression which is not severe but bad enough to destroy all my sex drive an appetite.
I have suffered with panic attacks for 15 years and all the counseling, medication and books I have purchased within the 15 years just masked the fear, never eliminated it for good. The only program that has given me long term success was Barry Joe McDonaghs Panic Away program. Thank you so much Barry for changing my life. My 15 year battle with panic attacks is now a thing of the past. Click on my channel mypanicaway for details.
Worry issues, I had em and this is what I did to rid me of them.Deep down I felt that it was very necessary to worry after all I sometimes came up with solutions 5% of the time.
Well if worry is so important to me I then set aside 1 hr.a day to focus soley on my worries. So any time a worry pop into my head I would quickley dismiss it to my worry time which was 9:00 pm. (I chose this time as it was the best suited for me).
At 9:00pm every day I would examine my worries , fret live in impending doom or do what ever I deemed needed to satiate the worry.
Strangely enough 90% of my concerns didn't seem so important any more..The weeks that followed saw its fair share of worry creeping into my daytime thinking but it became less ans less and after about 6 months \i am no longer a worrier and feel really good. I hope this helps.
i know someone who has this disease and is taking alprazolam tablets. and he is getting married to a friend of mine who doesnt know any idea about his condition. what should i do? tell my friend or not and would that disease effect thier married life? should i be really concern? please advice me - the wedding is very soon!!
I might be too late to answer your question, but even if I am, it's still relevant, honesty in relationships is what makes it strong, maybe if you spoke to him first ( that's if he has not told her already) maybe he's worried at what she will think of him ? it really is not a disease, it's a treatable disorder that he can over come if he get the treatment he needs, Good luck :-)
@tantsue Stay out of it. Yes it will effect their married life. Tell the person who is marrying your friend they should discuss it. Other than that, stay out of it.
I went to my Doctor, He gave me pills to prevent me from becoming nauseous. The pills didn't help. Recently I've had a resurgence in my Anxiety. I can't stop the nauseous feeling I have, and the fast heart rate. The worry is destroying my life, I can't enjoy myself anymore.
If you suffer from panic attacks you should check out the website at
panic-attack(dot) powerful-solution (dot)com . It will help you get rid of them for good. No joke, I personally used it and I'm a completely new person.
btw, I'm not trying to spam, I just want to help as many people as possible because I know how horrible panic attacks and anxiety are.
My doctor prescribed me Xanor, and i was addicted. I think pills just help you temporarily. and after the effects of the pills are drained, its just you against the world again.
pills are never a permanent solution but i am glad you are feeling better. try to get off the pills and do it naturally. all the best! love 'n' light, x
Hi, Just wondering how your doing? I'm asking a few people who are or aren't talking about medication because I'm getting a prescription for Paxil and I'm not sure if I'm going to take it.
I know everyone is different, I've been told I have GAD, PTSD, agoraphobia, depression, bi-polar, etc, and been given a bunch of different kinds of pills to try over the years but I've only gotten worse until I found NLP last week which has helped so much.
I have GAD. It's awful, you can't stop it no matter what you do, even though you know it's not even true. Sometimes if I solve a problem the worry will temporarily stop, but about an hour later I think about it and the worry is just as if not more intense than it start. But most of the time i'm plagued by it 24/7, mostly for illogical reasons that make absolutely no sense.
Hey man, im just like you. I can get over my problem but 10 mins later ive got something new to back up the worry. I dont understand why i am the way i am but i know that its a rough life and i feel ya.
I'm getting a prescription today for Paxil and I'm not sure if I'm going to take it. I've made a lot of progress with my new way of thinking and NLP, but yesterday I went out by myself for the first time in 6 months and got so scared I called my fiancee to come get me.
At least I got to where I wanted to be but I totally psyched myself out and had help getting back.
