@UnderNaps I know...did not get a lot of talk from anyone about my hair other than Black sisters....Their moms were putting perms in their hair starting off in the 7th grade....or they had hairdressers for moms.
My natural hair texture has a tightcurl (afro when picked out) and my mom never knew how to do my hair (my sister has a different texture). Mom's hair was silky and wavy and long.
My mom did what she could and so do I over the years.
