for starters the R4 is almost as expensive as the Cyclo DS Evo which is way better.

and i mean no HC Acekard 2 and Edge and TT are 30$ or so cheaper than R4 so why pay more for less with R4?

R4 is an inferior product.

NO YES IT IS R4 hasn't got full ROM compatibility, the Download play doesn't work on allot of games, and it only supports MSD cards up to 2GB no HC support

umm need help i dont know which to buy, r4 or dstt. both do the same but which one is more stable and will last longer softwarewise. thanx. im also aware that dstt is a bit cheaper than r4.

the ttds is good value

and has most or all the features of R4

the only trouble i get is occasionly you get

rom loading problems but

you just format the micro sd and put all your things back on then it works ok

you do but not as much

also r4 has a known problem for the spring loaded catch that holds the micro sd card to break

meaning your micro sd card wont stay inserted

all these cards have there own problems

but i advise you to read a few reveiws to see what one is best for you

also r4 is double the price of ttds

perhaps future updates will resolve the problem for ttds

if so i would recomend ttds

That problem spring been fixed, so I found it was no reason to explain it since I already knew, sorry I'm OCD, I don't except problems like loading and having to reformat, I decided to just buy the actually game, since I like to collect games rather than download, I mainly do Homebrew for something made for it, like the Game Park 2 Xtreme or Pandora handheld. Since I gave up on importing, their shouldn't be any games I want for the Nintendo DS any way, good day.

since the other day i bought a sandisk micro sd card and since then ive had no troubles with the loading i got with my kingston micro sd

i now have no issues with ttds and the loading problems i had seem to have been cured by using a sandisk branded card

perhaps the kingston one i had was faulty

i read up on r4 also and they seem to have improved so yeah its a toss of a coin reall to which you buy as there both exelent cards

just ttds is miles cheaper :D

Well, I was really looking forward to Kingston, oh well maybe it was faulty maybe it wasn't, I'm kind of into SanDisk now, so if I ever try to use homebrew with a Nintendo DS Lite, I'll be sure to get a R4DS and SanDisk card, good day.

yep go for sandisk they seem to be alot faster too, i know this dosent mean much to some people but its like 1-2 seconds faster at loading roms and saving games is much faster

homebrew is exelent i a recomend trying moonshell and Beup Live 0.3e

moon shell is kinda like a media player

and beup is a msn messenger app

i supose any rom cart will be a exelent

accessory anyone can get for there ds

if not for roms it saves you having to flash

your ds for homebrew too :)
