My hands stood still, because a baloon filled with helium could not possibly lift my right arm, because if I relax my right hand (which means I relax all of my muscles) i'd probably release the baloon. On my left hand, it's the contrary. If I balance a pile of books on my left hand, i'd need all the muscles I've and if I release my left hand they'd probably fall down. So basicly that's why my hands stood still.
