  • Well said :D

  • funny how sexual assault charges seem to just appear..really does remind me of others this has been done to..speaking of Halliburton..did you know they have been around since the 1700's..wow!!! maybe even earlier but i came across this in a historical book i am reading..this is one of the bravest man of our modern times..hope all our voices can make an impact for him !!!

  • Great video and important message.

  • @Sidney38SNJ interesting...... would that really work? i mean they if it would, he'll have to do it quick sharp. they already had the meeting to try and decide how they are going to deal with him. ill pm u the link.. its long but absolutely fascinatting.

  • Brilliantly said. Julian Assange is a Legend, he has made huge sacrifices personally to show the world the truth behind the Governments Agenda's and misbehavior's. Would a man who has been so dedicated to helping so many see the truth and stop injustice, commit an act of gross injustice himself? Very unlikely. They are discrediting him to silence him, lets help him, attend protests.

  • if 911 was a inside job after THAT we kill millions of people destroy 2 countries which side do you think God is on the Al-Qaeda & Taliban is the only people that is fighting against the ONE WORLD ORDER 4 real they are protecting thir countries and its natural resources from the LIKES George Bush, Dick Chaney, Halliburton and the likes of the rich in the NEW WORLD ORDER they are going save our freedom in USA from NWO hell is going to get George Bush, if 9-11 was a inside job think about it

  • Wikileaks does some good work, but that doesn't necessarily make its figurehead a good person. I'm not saying he's a rapist either that's not for me to decide, but whatever.

  • @NubianTribesman

Could be one of those consensual rapes?

  • @shameoncanada Lol.

    It could be

  • Suddenly lefties are upset about the farcical sexual politics of the Swedish state? Some of us have been pointing that out for quite awhile....

  • WE THE PEOPLE!

  • first rate mate, fav'd.

  • @CrossTheGrigori According to swedish law if a woman says no for whatever reason it means no. If the man continues anyway it´s rape according to the law. Your beliefs (or mine) are irrelevant. What is relevant is if the charges can be proven in a court of law. Assange is wanted for questioning, he is not formally charged with any crime as of yet. However, his hiding and all the speculation doesn't help either. It may even damage the credibility of Wikileaks.

  • This is an inspiring video.

  • "Greater than the tread of mighty armies is an idea whose time has come"

  • @CrossTheGrigori Sweden is not a perfect country. I wouldn't be surprised if Sweden would cave in to the US given enough pressure. But only if the government could do it in secret. Wikileaks has a lot of support here. That´s why the allegations came from Sweden since Assange had sanctuary here. Wikileaks still does. The public just wants it cleared out so we can end the speculation. But you are right about the flawed logic used by the american right. Killing Bin Ladin wont stop the talibans.

  • @CrossTheGrigori I support Wikileaks and feel that every journalist should do what Wikileaks does. But I also support the legal system in my home and trust my, and my countrymen's, ability to think and act for ourselves. We control the government, they can only get away with shit if they keep it a secret. And in this case they cant. As far as the US goes I hope they realize that dealing with Assange wont end Wikileaks (or Openleaks). He is just the face of the group. A tarnished face at that.

  • Even if he is found guilty of rape charges, I don't think it should affect exposed information provided by wikileaks.

  • OK I agree wiki leaks is AMAZEING. Sexual assualt isnt. No one really knows what happened but to blindly sign a petition, NO.

  • it isnt blindly, there are many reason that this case has not been handled properly. by all means, a proper investigation should be held. so far, it has been anything but proper.

the petition has nothing to do with the sexual assault charges. it refers only to the wikileaks organisation and related matters to do with the attempts to silence it.

  • @mydoggotshavedtoday One of the women has already left Sweden and is said to be in Palestine. One of the women worked for the CIA. The issue is whether or not a condom was used in CONSENSUAL Sex. Get your damned facts straight before you post bullshit. These charges are bogus and the only reason I believe they have been filed is because the US and Sweden are cozy when it comes to extradition and Uncle Sam Wants Julian Assange.

  • @justlilyanne , Do you have a link for reports of her having worked for the CIA

  • @mydoggotshavedtoday , If actual rape or molestation has taken place I support NORMAL investigations.

This would be the first time that Interpol has issued an arrest warrent for something like this. Interpol warrents are reserved usually for War criminals, arms dealers, people smugglers etc.

You do realise that there are calls from the US to list Wiki Leaks as a terrorist organisation and for Julian to be put on trial for being either a spy or a terrorist.

  • @CrossTheGrigori That is disturbing and I wont claim that the US patriot act cant affect Sweden. As a matter of fact it has. The US secretly transported "suspected terrorists" through Sweden until swedish intelligence found out about it and put a stop to it. That was also mentioned in Wikileaks. You can only hand over Assange in secret and that is not an option. Any other way would bring my government down.

  • I'm sorry, I believe Julian Assange is guilty. I don't see supporting wikileaks and supporting him as being the same thing.

Another "leftist" dude out to get his dick wet off of his fame--which should have been used to fight this pervasive patriarchal shit.

  • @iremythpurr you betray your agenda. how can you seriously comment on the case like that? what a ridiculous statement. "i believe he is guilty". jesus h christicles. at least the have integrity to admit that NO ONE knows the truth of that situation and a definitive statement either way at this stage is pure conjecture.

  • @iremythpurr you betray your agenda. how can you seriously comment on the case like that? what a ridiculous statement. • @SkidRowRadio

You know, yourself and many others have made it clear that you do not support actual inquiry into the sexual assault charges because of YOUR bias.

Have the integrity to admit you don't give a fuck if he actually raped two women or not.

  • @iremythpurr that is not correct at all. what i have pointed out is that the way this case has been handled is UTTERLY out of sync with any other assault charge ever in history.

  • @SkidRowRadio

Yes, the circumstances are quite interesting aren't they? But lets not allow the possibility that someone we like is capable of rape.

  • @iremythpurr i have never said he definitely did not do this. on the other hand, you HAVE said that he definitely did do it. that is unfair.

  • @SkidRowRadio

because I personally believe he's guilty?

OH BOO HOO, its unfair that some guy used his popularity to get his dick wet as opposed to using it for political purposes.

  • @iremythpurr ( I hate to break it to you, but you sound like a plant. Start talking like a human and less like a government tool, and maybe people listen to you.)

  • @SkidRowRadio Aye, innocent until prove guilty is the benchmark. It applies to ALL equally, not just the guys waving your flag. Eh?

  • @HeavyTrafficAhead absolutely. which is part of the reason i dont understand why people oppose this comprehensive outing of those decidely NOT innocent.

  • @SkidRowRadio Got irony?

  • @iremythpurr

He is not being accused of raping anyone.

  • @iremythpurr Quit your trolling already

  • @Bellybusterr

    Fuck you.

  • @iremythpurr Guilty of what?

  • @iremythpurr Ya, you know how us Lefties are, always need to keep a watch on us. ;)

  • @iremythpurr Julian Assange is innocent until proven guilty. End of story.

  • @GeminiPrimeX

Yeah...thats how the law works but given we live in a society where rape is generally not taken seriously as a crime I tend to believe people before a conviction is in place.

  • @iremythpurr I agree with you and Assange himself makes it more difficult to see him as innocent. The conspiracy theories dont help either. But since it´s my home that is the target for these theories I must remind myself to stand by the laws and ideals that we follow and believe in here in old Sweden. He is innocent until proven guilty. This is so bad that I am starting to feel like a patriot with all my defense. And I dont like that one bit.

  • @GeminiPrimeX How do, quick question relating to a comment I read on a video thread, seen as you're from Sweden, who better to ask, I didn't know where to start Googling. The nuts & bolts of it was: - ' I don't know why people are getting so excited about the rape charges, for this crime (the bust condom catagorised under rape definition) in Sweden, carries only equiv $715 fine. The real problem is Sweden handing him over to the US'.. was that guy talkin through his ass? thnx mate. :)

  • @theDukeOfEmerald The charges are based on Assange having sex consensual sex with a woman once. Then he wanted a second go, she said no but he did the deed anyway. That makes it rape according to swedish law. The swedish government cant hand anyone over, it´s handled by the courts. Since the US government cant accuse Assange for his dealings without accusing every media outlet that publishes their material I dont think he will be handed over. It would violate our constitution.

  • @GeminiPrimeX I didn't bother to question the guy who commented, case he was just stirring, the $715 fine & the US getting an extradition order on him seemed to dilute what he said. Thanks for clearing that up.. :)

  • @iremythpurr

    Guilty of what?

  • Hate to tell ya matey. but Wikileaks and Assange's 15 minutes are up. It was all a big yawn really.

  • @HeavyTrafficAhead a big yawn? is that what you call the definitive proof of a web of corruption and illegality behind the scenes of world governance? even if Assange goes down, this culture of truth telling will not be stopped. remember that each and ever leak that you so confidently criticise has to come from inside. there has been no hacking, no infiltration, only exfiltration. im glad not everyone on the inside of the machine shares your willingness to take it up the ass from the man : P

  • @SkidRowRadio "is that what you call the definitive proof of a web of corruption and illegality behind the scenes of world governance?"

Oh it must be Tuesday. Yaaaaawn. Read history Mate, nothing new here

  • @HeavyTrafficAhead lol! i still luvs ya. sorry for bein curt.

yea we already suspected much of this, for years millions called for Bush etc to be tried for war crimes. now we have the evidence and much more besides. do we do nothing? do we instead villainise a media organisation for doing, admittedly on an unprecedented scale, what the media has always done in the past (at least when it serves its duty as representative of the people to hold govs accountable, as laid out by the supreme court)?

  • @SkidRowRadio Oh, BTW, you could see Saturn with the naked eye from my house last night. It was awesome through the binocs

  • Can all you conspiracy- nutters just go away. Or at least learn about the swedish judicial system. He will not be handed over to the americans because it´s illegal and it would be political suicide to do so. If you hand over Assange you must also hand over every journalist that published the leaks and that wont fly in any democracy. I support Wikileaks but other supporters are so far gone that you are the equivalent to Pat Condell and his views on muslims. Dogmatic and delusional.

  • @GeminiPrimeX I disagree. Sweden has a history of bowing to US pressure. sure, there is no precedent for this and the hope is that fairness and legal correctness will prevail. but you talk of illegality, since when, with all that has transpired recently, has legality been a hurdle that the gov has not leaped with vigour?

im sorry that you feel some of the rhetoric being used is extreme. i would say that the *actions* against WL have become so extreme as to validate such a position.

  • @SkidRowRadio Sweden has no problems with Wikileaks, we host their servers. A swedish company is one of the few companies that supports financial donations to the organization. Our problem is that Assange needs to be questioned charges of rape. A separate matter than Wikileaks itself. And if you bothered to really read all the documents you should know that Sweden is seen as a "liberal resistance" to the US for not supporting sanctions against Iraq and kicking US spies out of the country.

  • @GPX i would love to believe that you speak with authority on what will happen. unfortunately i am less optimistic about Swedens ability to resist the no doubt massive pressure being put upon it by the US. i guess we will just have to wait and see. I am quite prepared, in fact I hope i am wrong. The interpol notice has NEVER been used for matters of sexual assault before in history, let alone for specifically for a matter so benign as 'constentual sex without a condom'. Somethin stinks.

  • @SkidRowRadio The charge made is that he had non- consensual sex with a woman after they had consensual sex. In other words she said no after the first time. That is rape in Sweden. If the swedish government caves, which they cant do since these matters are handled by courts not politicians, it would be political suicide and my government would rather piss of the yanks than loose power. Sweden was very safe according to Assange until the charges came. He even sought permanent residence here.

  • @anotherclicheddesign no worries. thanks for the support.

  • @CrossTheGrigori it is precisely becaue the world knows that America is full of good, honest people like you that it is important that we all fight to return the honour and reputation to your country. Your politicians may have let you down, as have the leaders of countries around the world, but it is now our time to remind them that they do not get carte blanche over their actions, as they represent us. thankyou.

  • Free Assange now!

  • I really don't understand people that aren't in support of wikileaks.

  • @ContinuumXT you and me both.

  • "Today I saw a slave become more powerful than the Emperor of Rome."

  • @BlowDevilUp great quote.

  • Sweden will not extradite him to the U.S. He is an Australian citizen charged with crimes committed in Sweden, that has nothing to do with the U.S. Julian Assange is not Wikileaks, he's just the front-figure. He is not above the law, let the legal process go on, i think the accusations are bogus as well but he can work that crap out in court, that's what the courts are for.

  • @Bellybusterr Sweden has a history of bowing to US pressure. it is very likely. and i'll tell you what, if it DOES happen, if he is extradited to face spying charges and the rape charges disappear, we will have confirmation, if it were needed, that those charges were never serious and were always a political game to get him in custody. what they dont realise is that this is a movement, this is not one man. we must fight to continue the trend of exposing our govs corruption.

  • @SkidRowRadio Is he wanted in the U.S? I thought the legal experts were pretty much in agreement that there is nothing they can charge him with. And what is your point exactly in this vid, if someone charges you with a crime you don't have to go to the court and state your case? I think you all are getting it wrong. The laws for sex-crimes in Sweden are completely ridiculous, that's the issue. Ms Ardin is accusing him of pricking a hole in the condom he used for consentual sex with her. RAPE!!!

  • ... It's not anarchy? :(

  • @Gettinghitonattheban oh ok, it kinda is.. in the best possible way ; )

  • ********

  • @theracemixer gracias

  • Go Julian!
