  • Great video! loved the formation flying in some cold conditions!!!

  • I'm a student pilot flying a Cessna 172 G1000

and I learned about a Scottish Bulldog for sale in the US. With the constant speed and Lycoming engine, I;m wondering of this may be a fun alternative to buying a 172, Piper Cherokee/Archer? Can you offer any thoughts to this aircraft? Are parts readily available? Would it make a decent traveling aircraft?

  • Hi,

The Bulldog is a much better aircraft than any of those you have listed. The parts are available from England, no problem.

The biggest point to consider is that the aircraft is not certified, it is registered airshow/exhibition in the US. For most people it is no big deal, that mostly means you can not make money with it.

Regarding the travel abilities: it si a good cruising aircraft not much faster than 110kts though. The range is limited to 2 hours, but you can add a spare fuel tank...

  • The Music is from "St Germain".

  • Amazing video!! The background music is great too...who is it?

  • Fantastic video with some great formation work, very nice.
