@WheelsRCool Actually between 1970-1983 Soviets had more infantry, heavy weapons and tanks than entire NATO. The only reason they didn't attack was nukes and CIA and Army were always banking on that fact.

In military planning exercises (or war games) run by Warsaw pact in 1976 and by NATO in 1978, soviets always overrun NATO in conventional war and it would have taken them 3-4 weeks to get to Atlantic.

They don't realize that monarchs can be a proud heritage like the British royalty. and bring some form of stability. e.g if the US or any republic changes presidents it's a big deal. if a demcratic constitutinal monarchy system is in place if the Prime Minister changes no one's too bothered by potential problems that may arise.

Though if the political parties start to cause major unrest, threaten the constitution or the monarchy for that matter the King has the authority to dissolve the parliament and take over. iran's king was alright I gues, I'm not too sure though but I think that he was a good keeper of religion in Iran.
