Isn't it enough to accept the fact that Savchenko/Szolkovy as well as Shen/Zhao are two exceptional pairs with a great flow and a great technique? Does it really matter who wins at the Olympics, who becomes first or second? What matters is the programm, I've seen both and I couldn't decide between them because they are both FANTASTIC. So it's going to be really interesting to see the two couples next year and then and only THEN I think we are really able to judge.
Conspiracy theories as to European favouritism are ridiculous. I'm surprised at the amount of envy that surrounds this pair. Ironically, many great 'artists' who dare something new have faced this reaction. Savchenko and Szolkowy are something special in the figure skating scene. THEY can put together a program in 4 weeks and beat the world record with it - THAT is what Savchenko and Szolkowy can do. If somebody favours another pair, do support them, but do not let it out on other skaters.

more than overrated!! i am just wondering, how can they got this technikscore with a double jump and unclean jumpserien?? their presentation ar so far from shen and zhao , even far from pang and tong. and still got 66 point? Obviously the european judge just want help them to get a gold metal. Same scadal like saltlake. i hope its will not happen on Vancouver Olympic!!
