The microscope is actually 640 x 480 resolution which is usable just and actually okay for the £29.99 price at Lidl.
To use it press the camera button at the front of the camera body and an application opens which allows you to record still images or videos.
The supplied application is not for taking images but is a piece of image enhancing software which is not necessary of you already have this type of software.
Have you tried it? I mean, have you really saved a picture and check that is in one folder? If so, probably there is a problem with my computer or OS... thanks
I´ve just bought one for mi son (9 years old) and is good enough...more than a toy but not a professional tool. BTW I can´t record any snapshot with any of the progams included... is there any trick?
nice vid m8 thanx.i think im gona get it next week from lidl 40 euros is the price.i just wanted to know can u see microorganisms with it like Acarina(acari)?
You can choose to get the illumination from LEDs under or over the object you are studying or from both directions. This is done with the button named “on/off-button” in the video. This if you not are using it handheld, of course.
lol, I really thought i heard you say '' destruction manual'' :P

Thanks for the demonstration, it helped me decide whether I'll buy it or not. Like your Bryan shirt :D.

Can you see cells with this microscope? Also, does light shine from the bottom and through the slide like a normal microscope?

Nice bit of kit there John. Like you say, you'll never find the missing DNA link with it but for £30 you can't go wrong!
