  • Very beautiful, fantastic.!!!

  • Thanks for posting this!!!

  • Wak wak, wak-wak-wak-wak-wak! Wak? Waak. ♫

    WWAWAWAWAWAK!!! >:-O

  • @Laurelindo ??

  • they make a sandwich and they don't eat it...weird

  • Miley Cyrus, Rock camp etc Disney? No.... THIS is DISNEY!!!!

  • DAMN FINALLY not this dutch and french crap

  • Wish I had his houses and train :(

  • Love it.

  • The burst of nostalgy was amazing :D I watched these as a kid in 90s.

  • I really don't like how these cartoons have been restored. The colors are too vivid and fake. Disney used colors that looked like the real ones and that made their cartoons more reals and less cartoonish. A lot of the charm of these cartoons in lost in these excessive restoration

  • i wish i had a model train that could carry a full grown tree.

  • 3:11 DRUGS!

  • 5:06 Donald just turns into an evil bastard. I remember watching all these in the late 80s when I was 6-7 years old, and thinking to myself, "Why are Chip and Dale going to bed without even taking a bike of their sandwiches?"

  • This is one of my favorite Donald Duck cartoons.

  • it was soo cute when they went to bed...they looked funny at the very end

  • YAY THEY MADE PEACE

  • the cups are orange but at first i thought that was juice inside

  • These three I swear to god LoL! I love these old classics

  • Those guys are cute but I prefer the Aracuan. Clown of the Jungle ;)

  • Those guys are too big.

  • I can't get enough of these cartoons featuring Donald, Dale, and Chip. I wish they had made more of them.

  • Only in a cartoon is Donald able to dig up a tree in a matter of seconds and move it onto a toy train by himself. And exactly how big is Donalds back yard? A hobby like that must be expensive. And personally I would have stayed in the house rather than the tree. And it was good to see a DD cartoon where peace is achieved.

  • This is real disney for you.

Rock camp, eat your heart out.

  • This's the only cartoon that both Donald and the chipmunks get the peace.

  • WOW THAT IS COOOL . I WISH I WAS CHIP AND DALE

  • Awww, they actually cooperate and get along! ^.^ How long will it last? xD

Donald's miniature village is phenomenal...I'd kill for one of those! :O

  • this episode was inspired by Walts own backyard railroad, the "Carolwood Pacific"

  • iagree with you nickzilla22 , but i loved it all my life ..

  • And is this the only episode where these three finally get along?

  • @katanaburner - There's also "Working for Peanuts".

  • In fact I would love to have that entire setup! That's so cool and where does Don get these things? The cars, the trains, the planes, ect...

  • I would love to have a train like that!

  • @katanaburner So would I

  • hehe this pay homage to Walt's Live Steam hobby & at the beging Disney apparently reused footage from Casey Jones toon lol

  • That is quite the impressive toy Donald got himself! I actually have a neighbor with the same hobby. He even offers rides on his train!

  • This brings back SO many memories..

  • Finally. A cartoon that ends peacefully.

  • Why are Chip and Dale out of scale at the start and later perfect scale?

P.S. Don is the one who is out of scale!!!!!!

  • Nobody can pick up a tree that BIG!

  • please disny give me back DONALD DUCK and dont give me the indiscribable********* that you have ow!

all in favor thumbs up the comment and vid

    thanks doc!

  • I love how this short pays homage to Walt's lov

  • that is what i cal a macline train track

  • I remember that when I was little I saw this in a video! (imagine no cd it was a video tape, old!)

  • the disney "train theme" is awesome, i still remember it by heart!

does anyone knows the name of the "track"?

  • This high enough quality for me!

All we have of this is something taped off TV over 10 years ago that cuts out a few shots!

  • A couple shots at the beginning look like shots from the cartoon "The Brave Engineer!"

  • @BramGroatFilms The locomotive looks like the one in "The Brave Engineer too!"

  • Gotta love Chip and Dale's little "dance cheek to cheek" at 3:07 =D

  • its funny in these smal films but in reality, chip and dale killed donald. Whos laughing now?

  • How the hell did donald just carry an entire tree? HAHAHA

  • Even Donald Duck can be reasoned with. Too bad the same can't be said for Ingrid Newkirk.

  • Donald Duck is a live steam model railroader? LOL!

  • There was a Little Golden Book that was based off of this film;I had it....and I still do!

  • 2:16 "You're getting QUITE a waistline"

  • You know, Donald could've easily crushed Chip under his foot when Chip was sweeping at 3:49!

  • wish I had a small town like that

  • Comment removed

  • One of the few where Donald, chip, and dale actually have a happy ending

  • If I had a bigger yard, I bult a train land.

  • thx for uploading, love watching donald duck the most esp. when he was played by the 2 squirrels.

  • that is a huge giant redwood

  • 4:45 They got pretty sleepy after drinking that milk.... Donald is pretty messed up for drugging those poor critters. lol

  • How'd he get the mini bread and the miniature glasses?

  • donald duck is sooooooo funny!

  • i love this one when Donald an Chips are playing nice!!!! soo cute!!!!!

  • Walt probably loved this one because he had a thing for model trains. There was even one that you could ride that ran through the Walt Disney Studios.

  • mi caricatura favorita de todos los tiempos!!!!!

  • Ah...Donald Duck and his hobbies. :-P

  • i like this video

  • godly quality for something from 1951

  • That's the sort of backyard I dream about..loaded with trains. Personally, I would've left the tree (and Chip 'N Dale) alone, for I'm not too picky about scale. Besides, a good shade tree is what every live steamer could really use, especially after a long run!

  • me like dale because he is very fun!!! hahahahahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • Wow Donald has one beast backyard, I wish I had one like it.

  • 6:17 power outlet

  • Donald is playing god

  • I just noticed something (still love this and other Donald Duck cartoons). At the end, when the train plows a hole through the tree, HOW was Donald able to fit through the "tunnel" of the "Giant Redwood"? You see how much bigger he is than the train and the hole. So, how did Donald fit through it? Shouldn't he have banged his head against the tree when the train took off? Anyone else notice this?

  • Dac719 , You can do anything in the movies.

  • @Dac719 Oh, come on, leave Donald have at least one happy ending in a cartoon starring Chip n' Dale XD

  • @mamamuas I know, but logically speaking, there's no way Donald could have fit through that small hole that's just big enough for the train to go through, knowing how much bigger he is than the train. Just saying.

  • @Dac719 Logically speaking, what you SHOULD ask yourself is how a duck can talk and act like a human being.

  • @phoenixsonrising Even in other cartoons, if a character is bigger than a tunnel or hole, he or she is not able to fit in it. Don't ask for examples because I'm too tired to think of any. And, even otherwise, I don't know the name of all the cartoons I've seen to list any examples. I don't care that Donald can talk and act like a human. That's not important. I noticed you didn't mention two chipmunks talking and acting like humans in your comment.

  • @phoenixsonrising Or how chipmunks can.

  • What do you suppose they say at 2:43 ? I can't make it out for some reason..

  • are the cipmunks both man? or is one like female? or what the hello

  • love this one! :D

  • Hey, I just released, that's the same loco from "The Brave Engineer"!

Lol, looks like they rebuilt it and sold it to Donald XD

And wtf's up with using shots from T.B.E. too?

  • i wonder if donalds house and back yard is forsale lol

  • i love the snow/sun scene!! hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!

  • I love these cartoons. The stuff they show now is just a nightmare.

  • 3:10 - 3:12

did he just say "little bastards"? o_o

  • @Hammi4Real nope- said "little pests"

but he may as well have said that. you know he's thinking it!

  • This is the best Quality ever! Especially Donald Duck Dragon Around.

  • i love the song

  • This was probably a nod to Disney's own live steam railroad, the Carolwood Pacific.

  • 3:17 did they forget to change the pitch of his voice there?

  • Add some Godzilla sound effects and it's golden.

  • My brother and i love this!

  • Wow!!

First time I see this and I must confess it´s wonderful!!!

Of course, I love model railroads...

  • Comment removed

  • @Marouvlion gotta be live-steam scale if he's riding that sucker.

  • @furlonium1 Indeed, looks like a little engines 1" scale american class.

  • This is my favorite cartoon?.

  • Soooooo funnii

  • 4:27 Donald sounds funny XD

  • I'd like to do a commentary on this cartoon sometime.

  • @powerpup97 Right now is a good moment to start.

  • I'm glad Donald was nice to 'em for a while.

  • And, for once, a cartoon ends with them seemingly achieving a kind of peaceful coexistence.

  • @mdumas43073 Exactly what I was thinking.

  • Cute little chip and dale.

  • I love art deco!

  • This is one of my favorite cartoon shorts.

    Favorited!!

  • I have to say, I'm quite impressed Donald's model railroad. LOL

  • I love trains!

  • 2:28

Says the duck that's ALSO out of scale....

  • Yeah, how did he pass through the railroad tunnels?

  • my favorite

  • quanto dias ele demorou para construir essa cidade ?

  • The scene with the train at the beginning was copied from "The Brave Engineer".

  • Donald has got one impressive backyard...

  • @Nickzilla22 Well, Donald WAS created by the guy who came up with Disneyland. So it kind of makes sense. jk

  • @jackette55 that Walt Disney

  • @Nickzilla22 I kno hu?

  • Walt Disney seems to get a same kind of little train in his own garden. Someone can confirm please ?

  • yes it is well known that Walt as well as a lot of the imagineers were a train buffs. Walt did also have his own 1/8th scale miniature railroad, called Carolwood Pacific Railroad. it operated from 1901-1966. it was a half mile long loop that went around his house.

  • How Did Donald build his train set?.

  • that`s my favourite chip and dale

  • I haven't seen this in 30 years.

  • i just adore the 50s, they seemed so friendly nd eco friendly then :)

  • Amazing! I have been looking for this for years! I read the 'Little Golden Book' of this film when I was 8 or so and never saw it again.

I remember looking in the Jr. High School library for it (what a train geek I was!) Now the original shows up in HQ on youtube, thanks!

Just be careful, Disney's lawyers may be contacting you...

  • OMG yes! This was one of my favorite episodes.

  • Thanks for posting this! I love how Chip and Dale "spoon" in this video.

  • What does Chip say to Donald when he tapped his toe while sweeping at 3:51 into this cartoon? I can't tell, but I'm going to take a guess and assume he says "One side" to get Donald to move his foot so Chip could continue his sweeping. Wonder why the chipmunks suddenly changed from resting and reading to sweeping and cleaning? Hmm, oh well. Still a great cartoon.

  • It was.

  • That's the same engine as the one used in The Brave Engineer.

  • Esse desnho fez parte do meu imaginário da infância. A liembrança dele é muito forte. Nem posso acreditar que estou revendo!

  • I just noticed something that didn't occur to me before with this cartoon. When Chip looked out the window and saw the gate swinging, why didn't HE go out and lock it himself and let Dale sleep? Also, when Dale goes out and the light is shining (for the sun), doesn't Chip inside notice the "weather" changing or does he not look out his window while Dale is outside? Maybe he does the second time, which explains his interaction with Donald's light bulb, but why didn't he the first time?

  • Dac719

One, you know Chip always get Dale to do all the work and for the first time the light shines on Dale, Chip probably had his back turned.

  • But, does that seem right when Dale's trying to sleep and, all of a sudden, he has to be woken up to unlock the gate when Chip himself could have done that and gone back to sleep with Dale.

  • Dac719

    That's Chip for you.

  • I noticed that too but what amuses me is the fact they were both sleeping in the same bed.

  • I don't think that was very uncommon a long time ago...I mean, I don't think anyone really thought anything of it back then. In one of Charlie Chaplin's movies, there's a scene of Charlie waking up in bed with another man.

  • com'on its just a cartoon!every thing is possible:P

  • favourited and subscribed!!! thanks!

  • This is one of probably very few cartoons where, even though Chip and Dale won the battle against Donald, both sides were in agreement at the end with the so-called "Giant Redwood". Usually, when Chip and Dale defeat Donald, he's typically either being destroyed, humiliated, or in grief. Excellent cartoon.

  • Thats one hell of a backyard... I wonder how much time Donald put into making it... cause it looks like it really paid off...

  • Which one is Chip - the one with the red nose?

  • Chip has the black nose. Dale's is red.

  • Lol, Donald's train is the same as Casey Jones's in "Brave Engineer", a Disney cartoon from 1950, and the opening shots were from that.

And Thanks for posting this! I've been searching for it since I saw it at Disney's cruise ship terminal several months ago.

  • man, that is some authentic stuff donald has in his backyark...

  • I remember watching most of these when I was little. Thanks for the memories!

  • omg i'm searching for epi like forever one day when i was 6 years old i woke up crying that i wanted to see this again and i never did thank you so much for uploading :d:d:d:d:d:d

  • i love it i hope u make more =)

  • Conversion is perfect, great job! So glad i have an outlet for all my favorite toons. Thank you for posting all of these.

  • Totally :D!
