Seriously. KG is the only comparable player out there, and he never had Randolph's handle or speed. After all, if Nellie played this raw rookie that much last season, you know how good he must be. Give him 35 MPG and he'll be a 20-10-3-2-1 guy (p, r, a, b, s) without much trouble. He's more jaw-dropping than anyone I've ever seen on the hardwood.

I don't see a KG type of plaer in him, he's not this hard nosed defensive killer KG was for all this years. When I see him play he reminds me most is T-Mac. He is so quick and elastic whan running the floor or attacking the beasket. Never seen a guy so tall with more speed or better handles. Really looks like T-Macs tall brother to me. very versataille and smooth. A Superstar in the making!

People said "Chris Bosh" a lot too.

KG is definitely not as guard-like as Randolph, but for a guy nearly 7 feet, only KG has really had his athleticism.

People aren't giving the Ws enough respect this year, but with a lineup of Ellis-Morrow-Jackson-Randolph-­Biedrins (not as starters, but they'll play together a lot), I don't see how anyone could stop them from scoring every time.

Agreed LVSL aint the real deal, but its close. If Randolph gets as many mins as any starter should...you'll see his stats climb. I hope dubs management doesn't screw this one up. Sign him up for the next 8 yrs already.

AR has all the potential to be a superstar and it only remains to be seen if it's w/ the warriors or not. b'cuz how many times have u seen a player on the warriors go to another team and become an all star. i'd love him on the lakersw/ all the lo contract negotiations. Alright, these Amare-Randolph comparisons are getting out of hand. There's no doubt Randolph has potential, and while putting up 40 points in a summer league game is impressive, it really doesn't mean much. He's no where near Amare offensively or defensively.

Okay. As rookies, look at their per/36 stats and you will see that AR is superior.

FG% and FT% are basically the same (AR better from the line but slightly worse from the floor)

AR gets more OR, DR, AST, STL, BLK and PTS than Stoudemire while having the same number of turnovers and just .7 more fouls.

Now take into account the fact that Randolph was not nearly as trusted or used as Stoudemire was as a rookie and you'll see that AR will be a better player. Plus, he's got an extra year.
