It didnt work for me, but I found that you can go to ur phone, then settings, then phone, then calls, then all calls, then band selection, and depending on the area that you are located, choose GSM900/1800 (I think that one is for Europe) or GSM850/1900 ( Probably for America but not 100% accurate). Just try those ones and see what happens :)
