  • Found belt material in the shft of the seconday driven clutch. Cleaned and reinstalled. Kind of a bitch to get the saucers apart with debris in it

  • Thanks for the info. I have the exact same problem. Installed polaris kit like service dept said, No fix, rebuilt and cleaned up secondary. TADA its fixed

  • i can almost bet either you have the wrong belt or its super stretched the primary shouldnt spin the belt at all until you give her gas. plus check your secondary. make sure its closed all the way. when you start off that belt should be around the outside of the secondary uless the sides of the belt are worn then it will be too thin and you just need another belt. i had that same problem with my 76 ski doo snowmobile...

  • Thank you for your replyand info. The problem was actually a bad secondary, replaced it and it worked.

  • is there and adjust ment on one of those wheels

  • Not sure

  • I recently fixed this it is no longer an issue. The secondary clutch needed rebuilt and wouldn't closed, also replaced the spring inside.

  • go see what the new ones do

  • wish I was that rich but my '02 is pretty sweet. I'm going to rebuild the primary clutch here soon.

  • no i meant go look at them like where you are having problems not buy a new one

  • oh lol

  • Damn dude that sucks. I wish i could help ya, but don`t know alot about that stuff.

  • get a new belt for start. lol
