The mansion's guide reminds me a lot of Thomas Hyland, a fictional narrator for a 1950s series called Crime Classics. The series has the same deadpan, black, tongue-in-cheek humor, with a ton of poisonings, vile deeds, and assorted scoundrels. I think a little over 25 episodes are available free on iTunes.

The whole Borley Haunted Mansion part is cleverly scary. I love it and hate it at the same time. When I first got to this part I thought about it every day for about a week.

i got SH3 myself and everytime i get into this house it makes me laugh for some reason when heather says, o my god, this is a real body! or w/e she says. First time i saw ''Danny'' falling down from the ceiling it scared the crap outta me xD but now im used toi t =] its fun =D

When I first played this part, I didn't run through like the camera man here... I couldn't even move, I was so freaking scared.  The volume was up, I was tensed up like a spring, I was actually scared to proceed, and then BOOM Danny falls on me. And I die. It's that terrifying to me.
